I want somebody I can go backpacking & hiking with. I'm addicted to optimism (but enjoy a healthy dose of skepticism, and a dash of humorous cynicism thrown in too), having things to look forward to and experiencing gratitude.
Things I'm grateful for: the love of friends & family, my incredible luck (I've got great karma, powerful angels sit on my shoulders), and the ability to adapt. What do I tend to do? Visit with friends and family all over the States, Cooking for them, keep up with politics a bit, catch up on movies during Oscar season, jogging, biking, both giving and receiving. Travel is an essential part of life for me.
At the very least, the romantic weekend getaway is priceless. New experiences - cultural, culinary, social and/or outdoorsy - appeal to me. Season tickets to a sports team wouldn't be an attraction, but when it's every so often, I'll enjoy live or special event sports immensely.
And the fishing trip or the hot-rod driving lesson, when they're treats but not lifestyles. Then again, not everything has to be done with one's lover, and I do believe that indulging in separate interests make us more interesting once we return to each other.
I'm mainly inspired by Art Nouveau (Mucha), the Renaissance period (Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael), Mannerism (Jacopo Pontormo), Surrealism (Salvador Dahli), and Impressionism/post-impressionism (Renoir, Degas, Monet, Manet, van Gogh...)
I realize that a birth chart doesn't necessarily denote one's character precisely and that a variety of environmental factors and life events play an integral part in shaping a person and their attitudes, but every chart I've come across is pretty darn close if not spot on in describing the person in question.
Look me up - I promise I'm a textbook case :) I love singing and dancing. I unconsciously wiggle when I'm happy or pleased and I add in my own sound effects to life. I love collecting trinkets of information and sharing them with people. Animals are an important part of my life.
I have one cat (rebel) I love reading and learning. I am a spiritual entity. Mental Diseases/Disorders completely fascinate me. So when can we talk or go out to dinner? I am a laid back kind of guy. I am very honest, romantic, realistic kind of guy. I treat people with the same respect that I would like to be treated. I don�t sweat the small things in life. I like to have fun. But can be serious when needed. And can get along with just about anyone.
And I can be a little stubborn at times and with that said I am not perfect!!I like travel and enjoy life. And I am not looking for someone perfect just perfect for me. So if I spark something with u let me know. I like going to wineries, outdoor activities, sports, antiquing, concerts, and clubbing, I also like to travel.

Life is tough at times you just have to dig in and make it happen because you will enjoy the results & feel GREAT.

The most important thing you should know about me is that I believe that it's those moments when you can just look at someone and know that you're both glad to be alive and together that are priceless, and more than anything that's what I want.
I know it may sound weird, but I want the reality of my life to be better than the dream. I know who I am and what I want, and I need for whoever I meet to be at that same place or at least past it. Deep down I'm looking for the clich�; I want to be the knight ready to defend the honor of his lady, the old couple sitting on the porch
at nothing at all, the one guy on this site that wouldn't list erotica as a common interest� So�.if you're looking for someone that can hold a decent conversation with you, and enjoy himself doing just about anything, then I'm your guy.
However, if you're looking for someone that is a specific stereotype, you may not like my chameleon personality. I'm opinionated, and probably one of the more eccentric people you'll ever meet and that's something that's probably not going to change with time. Like I said I'm pretty laid back, so I don't need to be in a relationship to connect with someone new.... but it would be nice.
I think that I'm generally looking for an intelligent girl that knows how to be real, but when to be sensitive. (A girl that knows a guy's heart isn't located between his legs). A girl who doesn't groan at the aspect of watching an old movie, or reading a good book, but at the same time knows how to stand up for herself, work with her hands, and enjoy doing her own thing.
