- About Me
-
I am considered to be a caring and generous person - with a great sense of humour (or is that - too many dad jokes ?). I find the funny in ordinary stuff.
I have been in Christian ministry/Leadership for most of my adult life and currently committed to working for a couple of years as a School Chaplain in Outback QLD, and I love that I can have a positive impact on young lives.
I like playing board games and chatting with friends or family.
My future life-partner (wife) MUST have a Christian faith that is evident in her life - and be comfortable with the beliefs and practices of the Pentecostal style of church.
You will be caring and compassionate and have a heart for Christian ministry. You need to love kids because I work and volunteer with kids.
I am perfectly comfortable if you are bringing children into the relationship.
You also need to be able to tolerate my sense of humour as I easily find the funny in the ordinary around me - and practice humourous "word-play".
You need to be strong enough to stand on your own - but smart enough to know that you don't have to.
I have been "single" (divorced) for about four years after 29 years married, and have not dated - on or off internet, until now so my dating skills are a little rusty.
- First Date
- On a first in-person date, it would depend on the location - I think a casual lunch or dinner near the beach (if possible) then a walk and talk along the waterside - maybe with an icecream. The non-beach option might be a picnic instead with nice treats.
