I think I am the kind of person who has a kind heart, but I can be a little hard to understand at times. I am working on that! About me, I have lived in the same area for several years, found a good place to live and made many friends along with settling into a great church. I think the only thing I need is a special someone.
My travels have been limited lately due to studies. I am in the last few months of a nursing degree. Outside of that, I do like to go different places when I can! Sometimes it is a beach in the US, or museums not far from where I live, in the Chicago area. I do also like to go long distance when I can, and I would love to go back to Costa Rica sometime (that is the photo on my profile with a jungle next to the beach). I am a little bit of a nerd, so I may take a long time in museums
At times I enjoy free things, like a walk in a small nature preserve along the lake; and other times, things that are a little more expensive, such as an escape room.
For my beliefs, I am very traditional in how I understand the Bible. I am also pretty firm in my belief that we should take care of the poor, elderly, refugees and nature, so that may seem liberal.
I am looking for a woman who will be my spouse eventually, and who will work with me to raise children in a Christian household. This is a lot to ask, but I am willing to be patient and put in effort to make sure I am building a healthy relationship with the correct person. I am not really concerned about mistakes someone has made in the past, as long as they are in the past.
