About Me
I’m a unique and very special guy. I am powerful with God and in a spiritual sense, have been granted authority over many things. This is despite the fact that I’ve been in a rocky place with God for a while now because of the suffering I’ve endured from a spinal injury. I am looking for my lifemate, my wife, my soulmate, my confidante, my girl.

The most important thing about me is I’m an honorable man. I have been blessed with a profound understanding of righteousness, and nothing is more important to me than doing the right thing. I pride myself on being fair and equitable in my dealings with others. The flipside is that I resent injustices, tend to take them personally, and try to rectify them whenever possible. My sense of justice extends to dating in the sense that I will always put you first. Whether you go on one date or fifty with me, I will treat you like the lovely lady you are, with respect and consideration. I will make you laugh! And, if it’s possible for me to do so, I’ll make you happy.

I’m extremely intelligent and impeccably educated. I graduated valedictorian of my class in 2003, went to Hillsdale for four years and graduated summa cm laude in 2007 with a bachelor’s in History, then got a full ride including living expenses to Tufts University, a Little Ivy institution, where I studied Global History under the watchful eye of renowned historian Felipe Fernández-Armesto. I was a teaching assistant for twelve semesters at Tufts, and owing to this role, I discovered I have a passion for teaching and that I’d like to teach history at university someday. In 2014, having won a grant from the Spanish government, I studied abroad and conducted dissertation research in Spain. In 2017, I finally passed my dissertation defense and earned my doctorate. In total, I spent ten years as a full-time, on-campus, residential student, but I’m very proud that 90% of my education—again, including living expenses—was covered by scholarships.

I have few friends because my purity of spirit makes it difficult to find people who are compatible. I am, at bottom, a very innocent, trusting, and even sometimes naïve individual. The women I’ve had in my life have generally recognized my specialness. Just to give two examples, my first girlfriend—someone who was always supremely honest with me—wrote to me once that I was “magical,” and my most recent girlfriend said to me several times that I was very “noble.” I’ve had the opportunity to be married twice, but was denied by the Holy Spirit. I’m charismatic and am generally held in high esteem by those I meet, including people who only know me peripherally or in a limited context, such as my medical doctors. As a young adult, I was once approached by the father of one of my close friends—a man who was dying from cancer—and he said to me, “I’ve always known you were especially close with God. Please pray for my family when I’m gone.” In fact, I am often granted special privileges because of my trustworthiness, and I try very hard to merit the treatment I receive. Consistency and reliability have always been key traits for me; it’s important to me to actually be as good as people perceive me to be. I do not want, in the end, to turn out to be a liar. I do not want to be a hypocrite. But the way is narrow, and it’s difficult to follow it as precisely as is needed.

My life has been greatly complicated by a spinal injury, which I acquired in December 2008. As soon as I was injured, I began experiencing excruciating pain throughout my left side. (Please note: I have full mobility. My injury causes pain but does not stop me from moving around.) At first, I had no idea what had happened to me, because the injury occurred in a very strange and mysterious way. I only knew that all of a sudden, I had all this pain. Sadly, it would not be until more than ten years later that we finally had something resembling a diagnosis, and it wasn’t until the past two years that we had a precise diagnosis. The pain eventually got so bad that, by the end of 2014, I was typically in bed 23 hours per day. The last phase of writing up the dissertation, between the end of 2014 and the end of 2016, was conducted in increments of 2–4 hours per week, because that was the most I could work at the time. When I graduated in May 2017, there was no question of entering the job market. Instead, I more or less had to accept that I was going to be an invalid. The pain was so bad by that time that I was already on methadone therapy. Something in my body healed while I was in bed all those months, however, and we were eventually able to back me off the methadone without my pain returning in full force. But the injury was still there and was still very limiting. I’ve recently started getting class IV laser therapy, and for the first time, I have hope my injury will actually heal. In fact, I’m prognosticating a full recovery—something that previously hadn’t even been in my vocabulary! I also finally found an antidepressant that works for me.

Throughout my life, I have experienced tremendous, horrific loss. The greatest loss was my health in 2008, but this wasn’t even the first time—I earlier had lost my health for several years owing to a bad reaction to a prescription medication that ultimately put me in bed 18 hours per day before I found out what was actually going on. As a child, I lost my grandmother, the relative who cared most about me, to Alzheimer’s; during the same period, I also lost my father to disability and as a result, became the man of the house at a very young age. I had a brother, Michael, who was seven years younger than me, and I lost him to suicide in 2014; he was one of the loves of my life, and I know he’s the best friend I’ll ever have had. I wish I had been able to fully appreciate him before losing him! But as so often happens, his true significance only became apparent to me after he was gone. Finally, I should also mention that as a child, I used to have a very special, unique connection to God: at every moment of every day, I was always able to feel His Presence in my heart, spirit, and soul. It was like having an invisible friend who was actually real! I continually enjoyed His Presence in my life until I was around 11, when I gradually lost the ability to sense Him. Since then, I’ve always felt very alone, although I know intellectually that God did not abandon me.
First Date
This is a continuation of the profile description (first date will be a surprise!):

I’m looking for someone pure-hearted, bold, passionate, vigorous, virtuous, and full of life who wants to wholly give herself to the man she will marry in a way she never has to anyone before. This doesn’t mean she has to be a virgin. But it does mean I want to be the only one who she’s ever truly loved. I don’t want to share a girl with someone else, even someone who’s dead or no longer in the picture. For this reason, I’m not usually interested in women who already have kids, and would not be interested in such an arrangement unless I were able to become the children’s primary father-figure. I deserve to be the full father-figure of any children who are in my household; I won’t settle for children who look to another man. In addition, for me to be with a girl who’d already had kids, she’d have to be able to see that her relationship with me and her commitment to me, as her husband, comes first—not her children. This is a difficult thing that many women cannot accept, so I’ll understand if you can’t. But the proper order of things is for husband and wife to prioritize each other. The marriage is supposed to be paramount, and I won’t accept anything less than that.

I like girls who are intimate and affectionate, and who want to be touched, caressed, held. I want to be with someone who desires and hopes for frequent, passionate sex and isn’t afraid to try kinky things. Personally, I’m rather sexually inexperienced, which is not because I’ve desired sex less than other men (I’ve had a healthy sex drive since I was a child) but rather because I was really honestly trying to wait for marriage. This plan got messed up a little since one of my exes pressured me into having vaginal sex. But it’s still true that I’ve never once in my life actually finished the act of sex, and I’ve only been intimate with a woman in that way on perhaps half a dozen occasions. This means there are tons of “firsts” that my girl will receive from me. I saved whatever I could for her, and I’m sorry I did so imperfectly, but I honestly did my very best. It’s not important to me, however, that my girl be able to offer the same in return. She doesn’t have to be sexually pure or somehow a “unicorn of purity.” Even I’m not quite that! She can be sexually experienced, just as long as she truly loves me and only wants to be with me. (In fact, sexually experienced girls have an allure all their own. There’s something very attractive about a girl who’s slept around and been well-used by men, just as there is with a girl who is innocent—although the nature of the attraction is different in each case.)

Just to be clear, I’m no longer waiting for marriage and will not impose celibacy on you. I will make love to you and be intimate with you just as any other man would. But I’ll want to know first that you’re truly serious about me, because it would be a shame to give all my firsts away and then have the relationship implode. I’ll need you to make me feel safe, desired, and loved. If you’ll do that for me, then I’ll gladly give you everything I have. Also, please note: I want my next relationship to be my last.

In general, I prefer younger women who are less experienced, haven’t had kids, and want to start a family. I’m also open to girls who maybe don’t want kids. Kids are optional for me; I’d be a wonderful father, but for me to want little children in the house, I’d have to have a spouse who wanted to be their primary caregiver. I’m not a caregiver by nature—I have many gifts, but that is not one of them. My main value to my children will be in modeling how they are to act in the wider world outside the home, and my contributions will become more significant once the kids are in middle school, high school, and college. These are the ages in which I specialize as a teacher.

It's important that you submit to me in all the ways a girl should submit to her man. My girl will give me everything she has to give. I will strip her to her most vulnerable and exposed state, and then I will possess her utterly. She will give herself to me body, mind, soul, and spirit, at any time of the day or night, and anywhere I choose. But in return, I’ll give her the sun, the moon, and the stars, all at once. I’ll treat you like royalty. I’ll adore and worship you like the goddess you truly are. And in general, you’ll never see any man as grateful as I’ll be for having you, since I’ve been waiting to meet you for 25 years and for 20 of those years, I’ve been single and lonely.

It's also important that, before messaging me, you know my current situation. I’ve only recently truly begun to recover from my injury and as a result, am still living at home with my parents. When I was at my worst, I had no choice but to come home because I couldn’t take care of myself anymore. Now, that’s rapidly changing. I expect soon to take a job working 20–30 hours per week, and I know already from experience working earlier this year that I am able to work that much by now. Probably, I’ll have a part-time job like this for six months to a year, and then I’ll transition to full-time work. So, if you come into my life, please be patient with me while I’m liberating myself from my folks; it’s not my fault I got stuck here at home! And I shouldn’t be judged for it! If you date me, you have to be understanding of that fact. (The truth is, among everyone I’ve ever met in my life, I’ve never met someone who worked harder or was more disciplined or made better choices. I’ve met a few people who equaled me, but nobody has ever excelled me in those traits. So, of all the people in the world, I’m the least likely to end up back at home as a loser living off his parents at the age of 41. This only happened because of the extraordinary suffering and hardship to which I was subjected, which was literally life-destroying. And I defy you to find anybody, even a single person, who might have successfully passed the tests to which I’ve been subjected without resorting to the aid of family!)
