Hello Ladies! Or should I say Women of God :) I am a gentle spirit man that Loves Jesus with all my heart. I desire to know Him more and more no matter the cost. I have been writing what I like to refer to as letters for around 20 years now and am just about to publish my writing for the 1st time. here is a taste of what Christ has laid on my heart- "The Road Ahead"
If you are wondering why this letter is called the road ahead it is to remind you that we are all on a road. Our life is similar to a road. At times it can be bumpy, making it hard and unpleasant to go from one point to the next without injuring part of us or injuring something or someone. This road can also be one filled with holes and despair. You can find yourself as Jeremiah the prophet found himself in a hole with no food or drink in the deepest despair was this hurting prophet, but not alone. His Deliverer was there.
This road that we are on will also lead us into places unknown, sometimes you will feel lost and abandoned. But fear not! Our Shepherd has promised to care for us all and lead us into eternity, saying: ?the Father has given Him all who were to inherit eternal life and none did He lose out of His hands.?
Oh! This road is not always so gloomy. Brothers and Sisters, this road will also be one that goes up to the majestic mountain peaks where God Himself dwells, in all of His Glory and Splendor. While you are in awe of the Cloud and Fire that seems to illuminate off the mountain, you?ll see the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and spend Glorious moments with your Savior, moments that cannot even be expressed in human language. As you are on your way back down the mountain, many will face trials and tribulation on The Road Ahead. Please, Oh, please don?t forget you?ve just been with the King.
Yes, my dear family, there are other roads to be experienced. Like when you?re out on the road and it starts to rain on you, and all of sudden this latter day rain you were so much enjoying turns into the worst storm you have ever seen and in a matter of seconds the Devil is coming at you like a flood. But! Praise the Lord for He has said when the enemy comes in like a flood I shall lift up a standard against Him; also no weapon formed against you shall prosper!
Let us not forget that the road to Calvary is only a prayer away, and that in all these situations of life on the road with Jesus Christ we are in deed more than Conquerors!
