Well, I still haven’t figured out how to fill out one of these without it sounding like a job. I’m sixty four and soon to retire (a few months) and will have ample time to pursue my interests. Not the least of which is serving at my local church in what ever capacity I can. I absolutely love our Lord and if he blesses me with a “suitable helper” (Gen. 2:18), He will supply me with one that is on fire for Him. Kids and pets come second to “us”. With Christ being the number one priority. I joined this site basically to see how much activity there is after I retire to my new location on Whidbey Island. And well, I’ll just say I’m leaving it in His hands (which it should be in the first place!). I’ve got time. It’s not a race. I believe that the relationship is grounded in faith, love, honesty, transparency and mutual respect.
