I am a man of integrity who loves God and strives to live according to His Word.
My relationship with Christ is the foundation of my life, guiding my decisions, values, and purpose. I believe in prayer, forgiveness, and daily infusions of His grace.
Raised in a small Idaho town, I enjoy both big cities and the open country. My two favorite sights are a hiking path up a mountain and the sun setting over the ocean. I love exploring and experiencing new places.

I like to create things with my hands; I enjoy fine arts, building construction, and architecture.

I love watching movies (romantic “chick flicks”!, drama, mysteries, & psychological thrillers) and attending plays and musicals.

While my personal politics and theological beliefs do lean toward the conservative and traditional, I truly enjoy meeting new people and discussing new opinions or perspectives. I enjoy learning new things and holding meaningful conversations. That is to say, I enjoy arguing fine points of religion or politics, but not pointless arguing.
I am a leader and a helper at my core. I served in the US Coast Guard when I was younger, and have raised six kids (now all adults out of the house).
