I am a born-again, Evangelical Christian who is looking for a lady to begin a relationship with. Because I live in Panama, I prefer to hear from ladies who also live in Panama.
The reason I checked "Other Ethnicity" is because one of my grandparents was a Native American.
Presently, I am a Christian counselor (My doctoral degree is in Christian counseling.) with an organization that conducts Christian medical missions to Indigenous people in Panama. Prior to this, I worked many years with the Foreign Ministry of the country I was born in. I was assigned (1-2 years) to eleven countries and worked temporarily (a few days to a few months) in eighty-six other countries. French, German, Russian, Spanish and Swahili were the languages the Foreign Ministry provided me training in, however, these days, my first language (English), German and Spanish are the ones I still can read and speak reasonably well.
As a boy/young man, I grew up and lived in the country, so being outside for work and leisure was and is important to me. My siblings and I could ride horses almost any time we wanted to because our neighbors had five they allowed us to ride. I played sports all my life, my favorite being ice hockey. Sadly, though, living in Panama prevents me from playing ice hockey anymore because there are no ice rinks in the country.
Mostly due to my frequent moves required from my Foreign Ministry work, I never got married. There were some serious relationships, but the ladies did not want to or were pressured by family members not to leave their home countries.
I am interested in meeting a lady who is most importantly a born-again Christian. Because throughout all my adult life my best friends have been younger than me and I don't enjoy the sedentary lifestyle of many people my age, I prefer to meet a younger lady. In the past, younger ladies have had more common interests with me than those at or near my age. I also want to meet a lady who enjoys physical fitness, outdoor activities and has a great sense of humor.
- First Date
- Before attempting to schedule a first date, I would ask the lady what she enjoys doing on a date. Of course, a date does not have to be solely one activity, so two or three activities could be combined for the first date depending on how much time the lady would consider spending with me. A lunch or dinner seems to be a common activity for most first dates, so if the lady requested this for the initial meeting, that's fine.
There is a stable near my house in the mountains, so should the lady be interested in riding horses, that can be arranged. And there are many options for seeing the beauty of the mountains, rivers, etc. where I live while riding horses, walking or driving.
Regardless of what the future may hold for the lady concerning me, she will have an enjoyable experience on the first date.
