Hi . I'm Lanny a musician, (guitarist/songwriter) music has been my main passion in life for the last 40 years. I also Like acryllic painting (Mainly landscapes) Tropical beaches or sunsets are my favourites. I also enjoy graphic design and post music production for my youtube channel videos.
I'm a follower of Christ who saved my life, I was publicly baptised in 2023 at my local church, which was the best decision I have ever made, Therefore it's vital to me that I meet a Christian companion, or at least someone spiritually searching.
Personality wise I have good morals & respect I treat people how i want to be treated. I'm intelligent and enjoy good meaningful conversations, I'm also a good listener, I love to help other people (usually better at that than helping myself) & some might say i have a cheeky quick wit. ;)
I'm looking for a soul mate, a best friend, someone kind, funny, thoughtful, outgoing, loyal, trustworthy, moralistic, genuine and honest, someone who wants a serious relationship and partner for life to build and share happy memories with.
I have a fantastic family of whom I'm extremely grateful for and close with, I have just the Coolest, most down to earth, easy going Parents anyone could wish for and I love them to bits!.. They have brought me up well, I have definitely adopted some innate characteristics from them, But I'm unique In my unothodox way of thinking and looking at the world, I guess I have many Idiosyncratic tendencies, I'm certainly not like most men that's for sure! and I'm grateful for that also!.
I'm very much a one woman man. I'm a gentleman, a romantic, and believe in treating a lady like a lady.
I believe a partnership should be just that, in other words A TEAM! Give and take, and mutual understanding (you know, both of us knowing what the other is thinking type connections that develops over time)
I like going for walks, especially in the summer months, but it would be lovely to have someone to walk with and hold their hand.. I also like nice cozy nights in with a movie and a takeaway, (Preferably Chinese) but again that's quite boring on your own .. I'm outgoing and spontaneous, always up for something that I haven't tried before, I have a good kind heart, I'm a very giving person, and although I've had people take advantage of my kind nature in the past for their own means,, i'm not prepared or inclined to change who i'am because of them, all I can do for such people is pray that they soften their hearts. However I'm by no means perfect, I've made my fair share of mistakes over the years! But I'm a big believer in growth through mistakes, I no longer see mistakes as negatives, but instead use them as tools to grow, improve and learn from, so use them to your advantage, and don't let them be in vane!.
I’ve always been a very placid person, but I won't be pushed around, I know how to handle myself and protect those close to me, any negativity that comes my way, I distance myself as much as possible from it, I absolutely despise fighting, arguing, and any confrontational situations, I do not tolorate manipulative people, Liars, or people who play mind games, I'm not like that myself, and I've got no time for such people. So I expect the same in return, There is already far too much evil in this world, without us contributing to it!
