Shalom! 👋 My name is Donald. It's a blessing to meet you, and welcome to my profile. 😊
First and foremost, my relationship with Yah (God) comes before everything else. I came to Messiah in 2007 after surviving a drug overdose—a moment that completely changed the direction of my life. Since then, I've been on a lifelong journey of allowing Yah to refine me, removing the dross from my heart and shaping me into the man He created me to be. I don't claim to be perfect, but I strive to keep growing every day. My desire is that when I stand before Him, I will have remained faithful. No matter what life throws at me, my hope, peace, and foundation rest in my Messiah and King, Yeshua.
I'm 36 years old and work as a contractor, building decks and fences. From time to time, I also travel to climb broadcast towers. I enjoy working with my hands, solving problems, and building things that last. Outside of work, you'll usually find me exploring the outdoors—camping, fishing, hiking, traveling, or spending quality time with friends and family. One day I'd love to own a homestead where life is a little quieter and more connected to God's creation. Until Yah opens that door, I'm grateful for where He has me today.
I've been on a health journey for several years, losing over 120 pounds and continuing to become stronger and healthier. I go to the gym regularly, partly because my work is physically demanding and partly because I believe our bodies are gifts from Yah that should be cared for.
One of my greatest passions is praying with and for others and studying Scripture through its Hebraic context. I love digging into the Hebrew language, learning the meanings behind words, exploring biblical culture, and discovering the depth that's often hidden beneath an English translation. I enjoy thoughtful conversations about Scripture, asking questions, and continually learning. I'll gladly spend hours studying a single Hebrew word if it helps me understand Gods Word more deeply.
As for the woman I'm hoping to meet, I'm looking for someone who genuinely loves Yah and desires to build a life centered on Him. A woman who is kind, feminine, emotionally mature, and confident enough to be herself. Someone who isn't afraid to challenge me with wisdom, laugh often, communicate honestly, and grow together through every season of life.
I believe the strongest marriages are built on mutual love, honor, respect, trust, and sacrifice. I want to cherish my wife, make her feel seen and valued, protect her, encourage her calling, and create a home where we both flourish.
Life leaves scars on all of us, and I have compassion for that. Healing isn't instant, and none of us has arrived. What matters to me is having a heart that pursues healing, takes responsibility, extends grace, and refuses to let past wounds become weapons against the people we love.
If you're looking for a man who loves Yah (God), enjoys adventure, isn't afraid of deep conversations, believes growth never stops, and would rather spend an evening studying Scripture around a campfire than chasing the world's distractions, there's a good chance we'll have plenty to talk about.
