I’ve been in sales most of my career and I’m trying NOT to sell myself, but to illustrate myself. I’ve been divorced for twelve years. The first part of that time was trying to get my head put on straight and the later part learning how to live again. I don’t let the little things in life bother me these days and if I want some drama, I’ll turn on the TV (seriously). I rarely drink, don’t smoke, don’t do drugs and enjoy cooking (helps my health kick). I don’t date very much and am rusty, so I just be myself and live by the values instilled in me by my grandmother and the Bible, so the only games that I play are board games. I know what my personality profile says as well as my strengths – willing to share those but would prefer to chat over a cup of coffee and get to know someone and not just email / text.
I’m at a really good place in my life with a job that I enjoy, a small home which is comfortable and hobbies that keep me busy, including travel - cruising, international and I have a small travel trailer which I use to go up to the lake (about 40 minutes away from where I live, so its easy to be spontaneous). My finances are in order with minimal debt, I’m healthy having lost 85 pounds last year and maintain my healthier lifestyle without giving up all but rice cakes, I have a good work-life balance and most important of all – God is an important part of my life as I go to church most Sundays and volunteer at a horse rescue ranch several times a month.
This will sound cliché, but I don’t need a woman to complete me, but I would like to find my Miss Right to enjoy life with – someone that is at a similar place in life. I am far from perfect and don’t expect to find someone perfect, in fact, I would perfect imperfection as part of a balance of a partnership which includes communications, affection, openness and honesty. I’m an open book if you want to know about my past but prefer to live in the present looking to the future.
