Obviously I am not perfect. Like everyone else I am a work in process. I try with everything in me to be obedient to and follow the one that is, Jesus!
I love the outdoors and sun (when we have it), yard sales, pizza, eating out or having a good TV dinner (shows I am a single guy..haha). I love to have fun and be silly at times. I really miss the closeness of a mate-holding hands, hugs, snuggling, and just having someone whose eyes I can look into and see that they enjoy looking into mine. Life is so much better with two together. I am very much a romantic at heart but hopefully can find a gal that not only this works but also we have some unity as far as our relationship with the Lord. Much easier to walk when two are in agreement.
I am retired with a fixed income so not much money to do things with. The worldly things have long ago lost most of their appeal to me as a good wife and mate and the simple things bring much more joy. Just doing things together with what ya have is good enough for me. Anyone looking for a rich older guy would be disappointed with me. With me ya get what ya see. Lots of love and affection and attempting to follow the Lord the best I know how.
I do much writing and have 34 eBooks comprised of poetry, teachings, sermons, and insights from the Holy Spirit on this link if anyone is interested. I don't write for money but do so that I might share with others what the Holy Spirit has shared with me. My heart is that others may come closer to Jesus and find all that He has for them. I also have posted over 400 articles/poems/words from the Lord on a site called Faithwriters.com. Author name: Rick King. If you question where my heart is, then what I write should bring clarity as to my heart.
Also, I look at many profiles of all ages. The reason is that I love to read about testimonies of others and their love and deep desire for the Lord. It always blesses me. I say this as I don't want gals to get nervous because I looked at a profile of maybe one younger than I. It is great to see gals dedicated and on fire for the Lord. In looking also the Lord may direct me to pray for one that is seeking a relationship.

The enemy would try to distract you with things that will not satisfy
I am the giver of life
My Spirit alone is life
You have tried to do things your way
Now try my way and find life
Spend time with me
Worship and praise me with your whole heart
Seek me in all your ways
Share your heart with me and I will share mine with you
I have much for you to do
You are not in the world by accident
