I am a Christian, and I put Messianic for my denomination because of the choices listed, I felt like it was the closest I would consider myself than any of the other choices unless I put other. There are various kinds of Messianic types, and I may not agree with every aspect of at least some types of Messianic Judaism. Salvation is based on the grace of the ultimate sacrifice of Yeshua/Jesus. Yeshua means salvation in Hebrew which may of been the actual name of the Messiah. From my understanding, Yeshua is also short for Yehoshua which means Yah/the LORD saves. This is the same name as Joshua. Yehoshua may of been his actual real name. I think some people get too legalistic but some things of the Torah/Law are good to follow. If you have any questions about this or any of my religious viewpoints, feel free to ask.
I am often patient, sensitive, caring, thrifty, gentle, analytical, detailed, and I sometimes appear quiet and reserved. I have never been married and never had children. I prefer someone who understands the Bible well enough, and a deep thinker who would be able to have deep conversations about Bible topics. Although if not, someone teachable with a true heart for the Lord could be acceptable. The heart of the person is what is most important.
If courtship is to be involved in our relationship than I prefer the person to have never been married and has never had children, or the person is a widow with or without children. I prefer someone who is not too critical. I think that relationships nearby are most ideal but I am open to long distance relationships if it is a good match. So feel free to send a message if you feel inclined. You don't need to feel pressured to be more than just friends at first.
I love Contra Dancing where I can be energetic but that doesn't mean that I'm the drinking, party type. At least in my area, Contra Dancing is typically done without any alcoholic beverages. If you want to see what Contra Dancing looks like without actually going to a Contra Dance, it's on Youtube. There can be some variations in styles of Contra Dancing, so I may not dance exactly like some people on Youtube.
I like to eat food that's healthful to the body. I usually prefer not to have pork, shellfish, or other unclean animals as listed in Torah but I'm not real legalistic or judgmental about it. We should be temples for Elohim.
I'm not much into sports. I typically like instrumental music. For those who understand Myer's Brigg's personality types, or want to understand, I consider myself an "ISTP" with strong "N" tendencies along with the "S" and some "J" tendencies along with the "P" and this subject of personality types I've found to be interesting. As far as love languages go, I think my primary one is quality time.
