Hi. I'm here hoping to find that special female friend, who becomes more than a friend ... At the start, it's always a mystery how it goes – but you're welcome to say hi if you want and we'll see if we feel connected or not.
A few things about me:
1. Jesus is my top priority. He is the meaning of life.
2. One of my favorite songs is Come and Fill Me Up (with Vineyard).
3. C.S. Lewis is one of my favorite authors. He wrote Narnia and also many books which describe Christian faith and why we can believe in God. He had been an atheist before he met Tolkien (who wrote The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings). He was sincere – he just didn't believe in God or the supernatural. And he was discussing with his friends how he felt all myths were ridiculous. You know, a myth is a story about something which someone believes did happen but the story isn't verifiable by scientific standards. (Including stories of miracles and divine intervention, so he didn't think highly of the Bible at this time.)
Tolkien listened to him and said: "But what if ONE myth is true, even if all the other myths are not true?"
This got C.S. Lewis thinking. He ended up converting to Christian faith. And many of his books are a must read if you ever feel doubtful about God or his miracles etc.
