This accoutrement...this equipment that God makes available for us is something that we have to "put" on everyday in preperation for battle. It is something that we will often forget and leave at home. It is only by our conscious effort to always be in God's Divine Will and to walk in His Light that we "gird" ourselves with God's Armor.

I saw your topic and then the verses. This is something that I struggle with also, and more so, since becoming very active in reading the Word, studying with other christians, praying with others and in general, just following Christ as He gives me the strength to do so.
Satan attacks those that are actively seeking God. he will hit you where you are most vunerable and he has succeeded in bringing me down, but only because I let him. God has given us, through Jesus Christ, the power to fend off those attacks. In this new year my only continuing hope is that I allow the Lord to make me stronger and stronger against the attacks of the spiritual powers and remember always, it ISNT flesh and blood we are up against.
