:prayingm:

I agree that it is tough to be a single parent these days. I am a single mom of 2 and it is a challenge that makes me pray constantly. Just wait for the teen years!! LOL

I hope I can survive my daughter's teen years with grace and with my sanity still in tact.

Take care

You are such a cute person! I almost tell my daughter to write you! Just kiddingbetween her school, work and church activities she doesnt have much time to do any more.

As a single mother of two they are adults now THANKS GOD!- my experience is that raising kids nowadays requires God strength, wisdom, endurance. Is not an easy task but, you can do it. Remain faithful to the Lord and the wisdom that comes from His Word, one day your little boy is going to grow and is going to tell you how good of a father you were I believe this is the biggest satisfaction a parent can have.

Greetings,

Jireh

P.N. I pray that God sends you a good christian wife in His right time and that your heart won't grow weary.

I am a single mother of three, and 2 of them are teen age girls, and believe me, it is a stuggle, but God is always there to lift us up when the world pulls us down. My advice to any single parent would be this: First, don't think you are thier friend, that is a nice theory, but not reality, you have to be in charge or they lose respect for you and themselves. Two: Make the punishment fit the crime, I have a friend with teenage boys and he makes them write bible verses that are related to their exploits, and it works really well for them, and it is creative, and they learn their verses, it is an all around winner! and third : Do everything with love, yours and Gods and let them know that even though they may be in trouble, all they have to do is ask forgiveness, from you and from God, and strive not to do it again. I am still learning my self, but I know these things work and especially with your teens, they especially need our guidance more than ever. Good luck to all and God Bless

LOL...talk about how crazy they are, huh? Yes, they are, but thank GOD for their precious trust, forgiveness, and unconditional love. If only we as adults could love one another the way our babies love us!!!

I have 2 boys, ages 4 and 9. They are absolutely, 100% amazing. I may be facing rising them alone, but God is my spouse for this season, as it says in the Bible, and He will not leave us nor forsake us. We are only here for a blink of an eye! Just trust God and enjoy every blessed second with your son. Train him up in the way he should go...he will love and respect you, God, and others because of your love and efforts!

Being a single father with custody is no simple task. The world looks at you with curiosity and hesitation. The professional world sees you as a anomaly. Not the norm. Raising children is no easy thing. I know, I have four.

Four year olds are easy. Teens are hard. But worth every once of effort. The more effort you put into them when they are young, the easier it is when they are teens and they enter there second terrible two's stage. That's how I describe teenagers. Toddlers all over again.

For me, there is too much to do to be bored. Cleaning, cooking, laundry, and.......... Not enough time in the day as it is. But I wouldn't trade it for the world.

After looking at those that have previously posted and seen how many profiles have been deleted, I hope I'm not next.
