How can you tell on the internet?

But on these blogs, I trust that the men are men and the women are women.

But in my inbox, I make no assumptions of gender. More are opportunists. Most that message are soon banned. I don't know if they are male or female. Pretenders are pretenders. Some line their pockets scamming others. They want moneygrams and gift cards and gas money and rent money and you never see them, but they ask.

So, the blogs here are as good as it gets for most us. We get healthy discussion. Often unhealthy as well.

Half the women here who view themselves as Proverbs 31 women and write that in their profiles are divorced women. Seems they missed the Proverbs 31:12 part. Then they're looking for another man.

But all folks are welcome here, and I do not wish to be too critical.

Everyone has a right to be on this site. And we all have a right to be selective.

The blogs are where we hash out some of our differences while we lack the notes in our inboxes. Like some chit chat at church while enjoying some refreshments or an adult Sunday School class or men's group or women's group. So, we give out our opinions.

I read the article on Christians voting.

I think voting gives one a right to complain

and if you don't vote, you have less right to complain.

From a Bible perspective, we have REJECTED GOD AS KING.

1 Samuel 8:7

And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.

1 Samuel 10:19

But you have now rejected your God, who saves you out of all your disasters and calamities. And you have said, "Appoint a king over us."

We only have flawed individuals over us.

Good when Christ does his thousand year reign.

The Jehovah Witness choose not to vote.

God establishes all governing authority.

The Prince of the Air appears to rule the earth.

Jesus did not contest that with Satan.

When Satan offered him all the kingdoms of the world

if he would fall down and worship him, Satan pointed out that it had been given to him,

and that he could give it to whom he wants.

So, it is that the governments of the earth

are largely controlled by Satan.

Hard to have Fair Elections.

Hard to make informed decisions when you don't know

half of the people on the ballot or what they stand for.

The elections are a joke!

But yes, one guy is better than another.

Who knows what blunders they make while in office.

But vote so you have a right to complain.

Like you say, it's like playing the lottery.

Whether you go Advanced Search or Online Now, it is like playing the lottery. And when someone writes "hi" that is like the lottery too. Chances are they may not have even read what you write in your profile, but they send a hi or a wink. The blogs have more sincerity. But most don't come on here. When you give out your regular e-address, people quickly ask for money and the correspondences don't last long. So it is all like the lottery.
