Greetings! I'm Shaun!
I was in the Pentecostal deal and professing Christianity for 3-4 years, but no longer am.
Christ is the head of His body, the Ecclesia.
I have been in the truth for about 6 months.
After diligently studying God's word...I became concerned and doubtful about what I was witnessing and hearing taught within 'proffessing/institutional' Christianity.
I simply could not abide it.
Over the years, I have become aware of the various doctrines of man's religion, and now reject them.
Believing God's word puts me in a lonely isolated position, but I can do nothing else but walk in what has been given me to believe.
I believe God is calling His people out of the "churches" and away from the bondage they impose on their victims.
The elect are few..
I know there are others around the world that are in this position, so I suppose I am hoping to meet a lady who is in the same predicament, or even just meet some others with the same understanding.
Either way, I thought I would throw up a flag.
What are these teachings I've rejected? Or; what is the truth?
-God sends no one to an eternal hell as
said hell is not in the scriptures (see LITERAL translations)
-There is no 'free-will.' Faith is a gift:
Ephesians 2:8-9 for by grace ye are having been saved, through faith, and this not of you -- of God the gift, not of works, that no one may boast;
-God has reconciled ALL to Himself in Christ:
2 Corinthians 5:19 how that God was in Christ -- a world reconciling to Himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses; and having put in us the word of the reconciliation,
-Christ was a man:
1 Timothy 2:5-6 for one is God, one also is mediator of God and of men, the man Christ Jesus, who did give himself a ransom for all -- the testimony in its own times --
...and a ransom for ALL.
-Christ died, as a man, God raised Him from death:
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 for I delivered to you first, what also I did receive, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Writings, and that he was buried, and that he hath risen on the third day, according to the Writings,
The scriptures were written in Hebrew and Greek, not English.
Now. To what I'm looking for in a lady:
Whomever God has chosen for me, if He has done so, before the foundation of the world.
No expectations.
It probably would be expedient if said lady understands that both herself, and myself, are who we are by the Grace of God. Also, it would probably be expedient if we agree on what the evangel actually is.
Other than that...
