On a personal note. I am straight forward and do not play any head games and believe strongly in good communication as the bases of a healthy relationship. My life is quite full-filled and I have reached quite a few of my goals and dreams. But I am looking to share all that I have experienced and have with another love mate. I have my own small health/fitness business. I enjoy being fit, exercise, jogging, walking along the canal, going to art gallery, biking, hiking, trying new things when I get some time, cooking healthy tasty meals, eating out at authentic places, reading, taking the odd success business courses, play guitar, sing as a hobby, being outside in nature like the Gatineaus, etc.. When we meet we can go more in depth about many things.
However, I also like to kick back and watch movies on netflix, eat popcorn and relax, have my coconut milk latte and just enjoy the quiet moments watching nature and reading my books. I like to entertain friends over at my house for dinner. Friendship and family means a lot to me. I also have goals and dreams that I am working on. I think we all need a dream to work towards or a purpose that makes you jump out of bed every day and start the day with a smile and expectation!!
I believe you always have to be teachable and be willing to change the way you think in order to grow in different areas of your life including in your relationships. hence I have enrolled in various success, relationship coaching programs out there and try to apply what I've learned to my life. I try to take responsibility in the mistakes I have made in my past and learn from them and do better next time. I think its important that both people in a relationship need to look at themselves instead of looking at each other to blame for various conflicts that arise to really make the relationship work. I believe we create a huge part of our reality with how we think and perceive things. Most people have a huge ball of negative energy that they carry behind their masks that they wear in front of everyone. My goal is to always add more positive energy to my ever increasing ball of positive energy that pervades my life. I believe when your positive ball of energy gets bigger than your negative, all your blessings come in even faster in your life. I can attest to this fact because my own life has been proof of this principle working. If you are also a teachable person and is willing to learn how to grow in all areas of your life than we probably will get along.
We also need to look for the gold in others and not focus so much on the dirt. I believe what you focus on in the other person and in yourself will expand. Furthermore if you focus on the negative too much it may cause you to miss the positive aspects of the other person and yourself. The word "heaven" means "expanded goodness". I think when we automatically focus on the goodness in ourselves and others we can experience a little bit of heaven on earth. I believe most people in relationships focus too much on each other's mistakes instead of what is good in the relationship. They should be open to the idea on how they can change their thinking to make it better. Of course it needs to take two people in the relationship to make this work.
