About Me
Howdy there, my name is Mitch and you could best describe me as country. For that to be best understood, my version of country means having morals and ethics. Family is first in my book, and anytime a neighbor (or stranger) is in need I am not afraid to step up. Money is not my focus in life, however, the affect on those around me does matter. At the end of the day my goal is to be able to ask myself if I was the best reflection of Christ and then be able to say yes and do better following day. No one is perfect, and I am far from it and expect it from noone, however, that does not mean I should not do what I can to serve others.

You could say that is the reason I am looking at the next five years in a way that prepares me. My plan is to go back to school for my teaching degree to major in history and social studies with a minor in agricultural business. After school it would be nice to start up a small hobby farm (thinking small amount of crops and maybe board horses) while teaching full time. The only other major investments goal wise include continuing to volunteer with the Coast Guard Auxiliary and eventually settle down. Eventually it would be great to also have kids and dogs as well- and yes, dogs are family too and I believe dogs should be welcomed into the home.

As for an idea match, the only deal breakers that come right to mine would be smoking and drugs. As for traits that catch my attention; great sense of humor which includes sarcasm, an amazing smile and if your not afraid to get dirty that is a bonus. It would be great to find someone who is also interested in a family, farming and educating others as I would like to open my farm up to inspiring others to learn about agriculture and sustainable living. In the end those, what matters more than age, distance, looks or hobbies is going to be the willing to work through tough times and make that commitment to stay loyal even in the hardest of hours. Relationships are not easy, and commitment and communication are make it last.

When I vision my future household, what I see is a family that comes together every week for Sunday dinner, rules and structure for children, chores and hard work for the entire home from the inside to the out. Of course, family fun as well such as game nights, going out to community events and even just hassling one another. My core values are faith, family and community and I would love to see that go into the kids as well. I am not looking to rush anything, however, it is fair to say I can be a hopeless romantic and also a strict parent when it comes down to it. Work all week, church and family dinner on Sunday, volunteering and family time in the evenings. Before you worry too much, this is only my vision as someone single, although once married it is something I will follow up on my wife with.

Well, if you made it this far I congratulate you (and you deserve a golden star). I did not mean to make it so long. In closing the few things about me you should know are that my main hobbies include photography, hiking, fishing, hunting and volunteering. I do sing off key in the car, am not afraid to be weird in public and do occasionally throw out random facts and bad, corny jokes. If you think we might match up after all this, feel free to say hello. One thing you will not regret is giving me a chance as there is much more to me than what is here. Until then I wish you well and look forward to reading your message soon.
