Hello... For starters, I cannot and will not consider long distance. ! I lost my dear, sweet wife to Stage 4 Breast Cancer. :-(
Only God knows why, and I've learned to Trust Him - God is Good all the time & He does everything for a reason, a purpose. He is my refuge and my Strength. So, I'm okay being alone, I'm in NO HURRY - I'm not desperate or needy! I have great friends and family... But, I don't want to stay alone! I would love to make a great new friend, and yes, I do want to share my life, my love with someone special!
My kids are grown and I've got awesome, amazing Grandkids, 6 boys and 3 girls from 2 to 17.
I love The Lord! He is my Rock, my Light and My Salvation. I believe in Jesus Christ as the only way to Eternal Life! Although He has done much healing and growth in me, I'm still very much in process (as we all are)...
I LOVE TO HAVE FUN and LAUGH! (Love to make people laugh too). I enjoy simple things like walking the Dog around the neighborhood with some of the kiddos. Motorcycle rides around the area (but not alone), historical sites, museums, eating out.
I LOVE MUSIC! It's awesome and often get to enjoy a few summer concerts (Classic Rock or Christian). Day trips are awesome fun too.
I'm not wealthy nor am I striving to be. It would be nice, but moreso to be able to help those in need. I like nice stuff (who doesn't) but ”meaningful relationships” are much more valuable to me than money!
I'm very social and outgoing, and do love to go out (I make friends very easily)... But often I prefer quiet evenings at home or with family or trying a new restaurant.
I Love my Gracie, a female 185 lb English Mastiff, who's a big baby, kisses and all! She's spoiled rotten and sweeter than honey! Also I love Mercy, my female Calico cat who's so silly, cuddly, and very spoiled as well.
I am conservative and a "Patriot" (Love our Country). I'm not overboard with my beliefs, I can't stand divisive arguments or haters, I'm just passionate about our veterans and first responders, as well as the Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Father's and our God Blessed heritage.
God has done a lot of healing in me and I've grown to LOVE, respect and admire "my woman", and her opinions and cherish her WORTH! God wants us to love our wives as Christ loves the Church. It took me some years, but I WANTED to Love like Christ Loves and He has answered those cries and prayers.over the years.
I would like a companion who has a strong faith and who is mature enough to know that unforgiveness, pettiness and secrets destroy relationships... but grace, mercy and forgiveness, along with complete openness and honesty grows beautiful, MEANINGFUL relationships. Emotional intimacy is the BEST and to me is the deepest form of Intimacy. In order to experience that we must be open to Inner Healing (If God shows us that need) and we must be able to be vulnerable and open. Of course this requires trust and safety in the relationship. I believe that we've all experienced some form of Emotional wounding (some minor and some very traumatic) and God has many ways of making our hearts whole! I'm not looking for a "Perfect" soulmate, but one who has an open and free heart, where the walls of Protection we often employ, we've allowed God to year down... He loves us too much to leave us the same. So have you experienced Emotional freedom in Christ?
True beauty is deeper than our appearance, as much as I admire outward beauty, REAL beauty comes from the heart, a heart filled with God's love.
God said it is "not good for man to be alone" - so he created EVE for ADAM. I believe He wants us to experience and express His love here on earth in loving relationships, and more fully & completely in a committed Marriage, believer with believer.

- Just Talk - at a park? At a coffee shop. On a walk? Most anywhere is good with me, including dinner. I'm just not big on "dinner & a movie". How are you going to get to know someone staring at a screen? I love to have FUN, but fun to me includes sharing hearts in just talking. So we could find somewhere quaint or pretty or quiet or a fun place... and then just talk and share our hearts with each other, or play a round of mini-golf! I'm very spontaneous and whimsical, but I'm still a work in progress, which means I try to value others desires more and more each day.
