- Rameses the Great once said after a long time of being married to Queen Nefertari "one lives just to hear her voice." Ever since I heard that quote I have strived to create that kind of environment in my relationship and to be that kind of woman who my husband will see as that calm in the storm. To provide a retreat where he can go and find peace, love, kindness, and understanding, and where he can recharge from the chaos of a hectic world. For me to do that good communication is essential. I want to be able to talk about things and come to a place where we can both be happy with the outcome of the situation and understand each other in the topic at hand. I don't want a screaming match, or raised voices, I don't want name calling, or personal attacks, just talking through things calmly and for each of us to be striving to understand where the other is coming from and coming to conclusions together. Basically I want my husband to feel like being with me feels like paradise and not another burden. It is instinctive in me, when he is stressed or upset about something to be nurturing and try to calm him down and take his mind off of things. I do not believe in sex before marriage though so that is not something you can expect before then.
