Unvaxed whole Bible follower looking for new adventures with an easy going, positive attitude, intellectual, passionate, energetic God-fearing woman with a good sense of humor who enjoys witty conversations and both indoor and outdoor activities and can sing. (I love to sing harmony.) I prefer meeting someone local but may make an exception if you are following Torah.
I believe in becoming friends first with no expectations for anything beyond friends, but I'm not opposed to more if it's in Dad's plan. I enjoy travel and lived in Guatemala, Central America for almost 2 years.
I love in-depth Bible studies, and if you would enjoy studying Scripture together, then I already like you! I am not, however, someone who thinks you have to believe exactly like I do for us to be friends. God tells us to love everyone and to be in unity with those who believe in Him (even if we have slight differences in our interpretations of Scripture). We as Believers must stand and study together so that we can reprove and strengthen one another. I personally believe that Yeshua (Jesus in English) is the Messiah, plus I also follow all of the Bible commandments in order to be a pleasing son, but not to achieve salvation (which only comes from putting my faith in Yeshua/Jesus). I started out Southern Baptist in Jr. High, then joined a non-denom full-gospel church in college, and from there God led me to home group study with other believers seeking deeper understanding of Scripture through combined Old and New Testament studies. It's been an amazing journey, and I am looking forward to more to come! Pls note that my ex-wife gave me a very mild case of HSV2 which affects my life in no way other than using caution to protect an intimate partner. Also, I am unable to have more children of my own.
In a nutshell:
I am a non-complicated passionate respectful affectionate drama-averse honest old-school (good-mannered) native Texan gentleman with a great sense of humor, a tad bit of geekiness, great health, and a knack for fixing things (electrical, mechanical, electronic/computer, plumbing, vehicles, stiff necks, sore muscles, etc.). (I can break things, too, but then I try to fix them. ;-) )
More details:
I am a family-oriented respectful Bible-believing, searching, and following gun-owning conservative who gets along with just about everyone. Currently living alone in my paid-for house on 1.8 acres in city limits.
I like eating in and eating out. I try to eat fairly healthy and truly appreciate the effort that goes into making a meal. I like watching movies (esp. thrillers and syfy), taking dance lessons, and indoor and outdoor activities/games of all kinds (racquetball, volleyball, cards, dominoes, etc.). For exercise, I typically go to Planet Fitness at least once a week.
I believe that quality and lasting relationships take time and are based on becoming best-friends first.
I started taking ballroom and salsa lessons several years ago, and I would enjoy relearning everything I have forgotten with an interested partner.
If you think we might be compatible, please don't be afraid to say, "Hi!". I am an open book and love to chat. I am also a good listener and super easy to talk to. I speak a little Spanish (but it's been awhile).

- If it's nice out, then meeting at the park and taking a walk together is a pleasant way to get to know one another. Chatting over a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate is also great. Ice Cream/etc., are optional but not totally off the table. ;-) Doing something together as a first experience for both is also a pretty cool idea. And, of course, meeting for dinner or a Bible study or even going to a bible study together are also excellent choices.
