I'm looking for a strong Christian man with a personal relationship with Jesus. I believe in traditional roles balanced with a healthy respect for modern ways. I believe in God, love and faith. I'm looking for a go-getter and an encourager; two whole people who will come together to make an impact on this world for God through family, community and what God places in our path. I'd love to just be a happy family doing our daily "thang" and enjoying a few field trips, volunteer opportunities with the whole family and vacations.
I am a mom of many but there are two left in the home. I don't think I want more to birth more children but yours are fine.
I like to joke that I have a lot of personalities. But really, I just feel blessed to be able to get along with many kinds of personalities. I am also bilingual and bicultural; half caucasian (Swedish descent) and half Mexican. So I enjoy the best of those two worlds.
God made me strong for a reason. I've been through a lot. But, I've come out healthy and well on the other side. I'm strong and I need a man that is strong in God, strong enough to be a leader spiritually and humbly in Christ. So the traditional roles like provider, leader, friend, father-figure for my children are all appealing to me. A God-loving, hard-working, family-oriented, faithful man is a valuable treasure!
If I think about a happy moment with my friend and future husband, I think about a calm cuddling time on the couch enjoying each other's presence comfortably and without pressure. Camping and doing the same, enjoying a sunrise or sunset would be magnificent. Being a recent widow, I miss being loved on and that's not necessarily physically speaking. I want to be honorable in my choices so that consequences are sweet and positive.
I am very goal oriented. I'm building a house in faith. I don't have the resources or ability for such a huge task. Yet, God showed it to me so it will be and I'm excited for it. I work hard to do what I can in my power to make that a reality and leave the rest for God to do.
I am working on being financially debt free, growing my credit, being more physically active, raising my kids in God, and seeking God-inspired and self-motivated improvement. I want to constantly grow. I want to be a good example to my children, myself and to others. I'm not perfect but I'm motivated to keep trying to get closer.
I am a busy person. With that being said, I'm also trying to honor balance. Work is valuable and so is rest.
I like to go on road trips and go to find adventures with my babies that don't necessarily have to cost much like going to the lake, visiting a wooded trail or even spontaneously stopping on the side of the road to enjoy the view.
I like to draw words like calligraphy but my own style. I enjoy learning about what my passions are and I like to feel that I've helped others.
I work at a hospital in an office. I started my Bachelor of Science in Health Administration.
We have a yellow tabby cat named Finn. I love lifted trucks and muscle cars.

Generosity, work ethic, honor for his family, love of God, loyalty, prioritizes his wife and children, confident, sense of humor, team player, good communicator, fiscally responsible, spontaneous, ability to listen, easy to talk to, provider, not afraid to get dirty, cleans up well, hygienic, can be vulnerable with me, goal-oriented, believes for the best (general positive mindset), prioritize "grown up time", chivalrous, supportive, protector of me my heart and our kids, handy, show love not only through word but action, likes to play outdoors, kind to/values the lives of animals (hunt to eat ok. Just don't make me process it), slow to anger, not easily offended, not on or addicted to substances or addicted to electronics, stronger than I and proud of my resilience and strength as opposed to intimidated, educated (this could mean different things).
People can be academically educated and lack the above character. As my old boss would say, you can buy training. You can't buy character. But since I want to push myself further educationally and I'd like my children to do the same, I'd like my person to VALUE education.
Bilingual English/Spanish is NOT a requirement for me but I have relatives who speak Spanish and I try to teach my children.
Problem solving skills is a must. Perfection is not required but if we are committed to working things out, understanding and valuing the other person and always trying to keep working it out then it will.
I gotta say, I'm definitely tired of hearing from the lack of quality. I'm not interested in you seeing my face and wanting to talk about your need for instant gratification. No, I will not send you used underwear. No, you can't pay me to be your girlfriend. No, I won't do house calls! Seriously?! Yes, thank you I'm pretty but there's so much more and when you talk to me consider your mother's or daughters because when you talk to me, I do. I think about character. Where is the honor in our men?! A man has a God-given purpose to love and protect. There's still good women out there. Don't be fooled by the traps of this world. You're worth more. Start living like it!
If I can be all these things, I'm sure someone else can. I'm definitely willing to wait for quality and am praying for whoever he will be.
