I'm a confessional Lutheran (LCMS) who's trying to figure out the insane world we find ourselves living in these days. I've learned quite a lot in the past several years, changed quite a lot, and still have a long way to go. I'm equal parts deadly serious and ludicrously comical. In a good way, of course! :) I tend to be more comfortable indoors and in the company of familiar folk, and no one has ever accused me of talking too much. Rambling, maybe, but that's different.
I'm looking for a wife who would be comfortable submitting to me as the Church submits to Christ, and bearing much fruit. I do believe God established the genders to be more suited for particular roles, and developed the natural order around those roles. As the husband, I will be the head of the household under that paradigm, and I take my responsibilities in that regard seriously. I have a fairly laid back disposition, but if you're the type that likes to "wear the pants" then maybe I'm not the right guy for you.
I'm definitely looking to have children -- as many as God allows. If you're unable, I won't hold it against you, we can always adopt. But if you simply don't want children, and aren't open to perhaps being persuaded otherwise, then I'm afraid I'm not interested.
Age-wise, I'm not opposed in principle to a bit of an age gap. I think late 20s would be preferred, but not required. The biggest thing is I'm not looking for anyone older than myself.
