- About Me
I only read the KJV of the bible since other versions omit and alter the Word of God.
I was not brought up in a conservative Christian family, so I did not start out life with a strong biblical foundation. I am well aware of who I am and even though I did not claim to be a Christian back then, I have always rejected the world's modern teachings and ways (drinking, partying, fornication, etc), because God's law has always been in me. Long story short, I purchased a bible and read it cover to cover. Half-way through, I repented of my old ways and beliefs. I did what Jesus commanded me to do, I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.
Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
If you call yourself a Christian, you will read the Word of God and do what it says. We are not commanded to add. alter, or interpret God's word. There is no "once saved, always saved" in the bible nor "trinity" nor "oneness" nor "god the son" nor "eternal son" nor "god the holy spirit" nor "by faith alone, through faith alone." I reject any tradition that goes against the word of my Father regardless of how many people believe in it. If you can't talk about your doctrine using the Word of God, then your doctrine is not of God.
1 Peter 4:11 "If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."
Proverbs 30:6 "Add thou not unto his word, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar."
Timothy 2:9-10 "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works."
1 Timothy 5:8 "But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel."
God does not recognize divorce which is why I believe you need to ensure you are marrying the right person. I have never looked at divorce as an option. Once you marry, you and your spouse are no more twain but one flesh. The problem with many modern relationships is that they are built on a weak biblical foundation (or none at all), then when hard times come, worldly people go for the world's solution to the problem which is divorce.
I love the Lord with all my heart, soul and might. I am looking for a woman that feels the same. Someone that will be the "help meet" the Lord intended for man. She will be of a meek and quiet spirit, dress modestly, and be a keeper of the home. As a man, I look forward on fulfilling the role God has set for me to work hard to provide for my house, love my wife and children, and be the biblical leader of the home.
Luke 16:18 "Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery."
Matthew 11:15 "He that hath ears to hear, let him hear"
