I think it’s the duty of every Christian to be a theologian. To be able to properly handle the scriptures. I think if we all replaced our T.V’s with a Koine Greek study guide; we would have a stronger church doctrinally and spiritually (with the TV gone) I also know that if you are authentically evangelizing the truth, that miracles signs and wonders will naturally follow.
I only use the KJV and my Greek bible.
I think faith is not an intellectual agreement to facts about Jesus but something we live by. It’s the invisible bridge we cross in this often reckless Christian life we’re all called to live.
I believe there are many verses that say emphatically that we can live in this life; free from sin. That we don’t have to sin. The verses are all over the place in scripture if someone wants to find them. (The most obvious is Matthew 5:48) The truth is verses like “come out from among them and be ye separate..perfecting holiness in the fear (or reverence if you prefer that interpretation) of God” are ignored, and we suffer for it morally)
I think overall God has preserved a remnant.
