Hi there!
I'm Dave and I'm a down-to-earth kind of guy with a lot to offer. I consider myself above average in the sense that I'm honest, respectful, and always willing to lend a helping hand. I value keeping a clean and organized home, and am a bit of a whiz in the kitchen, so you can expect some fantastic meals if we hit it off! I cook with cast iron, and I have a nice set for cooking.
Texting is nice, but I'd like to meet sooner than later. Texting is a good way to communicate, but it's nicer to have a real conversation so we have the chance to enjoy each other's company.
Even though I've been through a divorce, I am grateful for where I am in life and have no emotional baggage from past relationships. However, I do miss having a partner to share life's joys with. I value the importance of companionship, and am looking for someone to laugh with and create meaningful memories together.

In my 20s-30s-40s I was passed over because I was the nice guy, not the typical 'bad boy with issues that needed to be saved by the love of a good woman'. I am still the nice guy I've always been, and I am not a simp. I will do things for you, but don't look for me to be a pushover.
Are you at the point in your life where you have hit the 'wall', and think there are no more "good guys" available because they have already been taken. I know, that sucks. You're a wonderful woman, wanting to be in a steady relationship, married, picket fence, etc. You keep looking, but you can't find a guy who checks all your boxes.
You find one that checks most of your boxes, so you date him. Then he treats you like dirt, you break up and wonder what is wrong with you instead of being out and enjoying life.
I understand and agree with you that you deserve an awesome guy that will treat you as you deserve. Likewise, I deserve an awesome woman. But I admit I have been too picky, and I am realizing my 'ideal woman' exists only in fairy tales and rom-com movies. She is 'out there' - maybe on this site - a flesh and blood lady who has the freedom and choice to be with me. Take a chance and see me as someone who wants to meet a wonderful woman like yourself.
At best, we can have some (NON-SEXUAL!!!) fun, do some talking and maybe drink some coffee together. Isn't better than sitting at home, by yourself, wondering "where is a good guy - why can't I meet him???"
