- About Me
-
I spent my high school years in Papua New Guinea—my parents were missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Living in PNG was such a unique time, and has changed me for the better.
My grandfather was a missionary to Korea, and married my Korean grandma there. I am a quarter Korean, so I call myself a Quarterean. :) I am honored to be part Korean.
I have BA degrees in Radio, TV, and Film; English Literature. I still haven't lost my passion for cinematography and script writing.
My parents recently bought 33 acres, and as my life suddenly changed, I found myself to be the only sibling that could help my parents build their dream home. Through this process, I have grown so much closer to my Lord and Savior--God and I still have a lot of long talks! We hope to start a coffee roasting and tea company, and raise sheep! We won’t roast the sheep, though. Just the coffee. :)
From The Dating Manifesto:
“It is a man’s role to interrupt a woman’s plans.” —Candice Watters
Marriage is disruptive. If you do not let marriage change your plans, then you are not in the position to marry.
“Love does not keep your marriage together. Your marriage keeps your love together.” —Adrian Rogers
My current favorite Bible passage is Isaiah 44:21-22. It’s beautiful! Let it truly sink in:
“I, the LORD, made you,
and I will not forget you.
I have swept away your sins like a cloud.
I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist.
Oh, return to me,
for I have paid the price to set you free.”
