About Me
I am passionate guy who loves Jesus and who is looking for a woman who does the same. I try to keep my life simple, living by gratitude and grace, and finding my peace always in Him. In a woman, I appreciate the qualities of kindness, gentleness, warmth, understanding, and obviously a strong faith. I also admire a woman who is active in some way and who has an overall healthy lifestyle--whatever form that may take.

There does need to be a certain initial attraction and chemistry between us, and then from there, what I am ultimately looking for is for us to be in love. That is the eventual happy scenario for finding someone here: not just that “I am dating someone” but “I am in love!” As a part of that, there would be a trust which would grow naturally over time as we learn about each other. We would also need the foundation of us having similar values on the important topics of life: God, faith, family, our calling in this life, et cetera. I am also looking to find deep, heart-to-heart communication between us where we can open up and truly ‘be ourselves’ and find that we can really understand and appreciate the other person. I do not believe in a single 'soul mate', but there are people who I more easily connect with and can communicate with, this being part of the initial chemistry.

(Btw, I have just arrived in the area 3 months ago, so I am not willing to relocate. Acceptable distance for me would be roughly where one or both of us could drive in order to meet on a weekend. Local is nice too ;) )
First Date
Something outdoors--especially at this time of year. Maybe a hike, or horseback riding, or even going to the zoo. If it is an activity where we are active and engaged, then we can more easily settle in to simple conversation with each other and do not need to be talking the whole time. Coffee is nice too, but that usually means constant conversation for that first date, and doesn't allow us just to 'be' with each other in the simple sense. Overall, though, I am flexible. We can also chat by e-mail a bit first.
