I could blame the pandemic but in reality I just don't meet many people and its my own fault. I'm a little shy with strangers.
My interests include health and fitness, travel and other cultures, how people think, financial management and investing, and a whole lot more. I'm basically retired and reading takes up a lot of my time. There's a lot to learn out there!
Regarding my faith I worry that denominations separate us more than bring us together. What do we really have? The Bible. Everything else is born from people and people make mistakes. So we must use caution always when we are influenced by persuasive leaders in the faith and never be hesitant to question them. If their position is solidly biblical it should be easy for them to substantiate that position. Many start out very well then get led astray by a feeling of power or influence and especially money. But I believe we should not be quick to judge someone a false teacher unless its strikingly unbiblical and they refuse to reconsider that position. We all make a LOT of mistakes after all. We should never expect perfection from our leaders or pastors.

- I've never liked the word "date". It sounds so stilted and filled with expectations. I believe people should get to know each other in a relaxed setting where its very easy to talk. After all "getting to know someone" takes a while so we should be patient. And if you can't imagine anything blossoming maybe you have a friend that can introduce you to others on their recommendation. You just never know. But the only way you'll get introduced is if they respect your values.
