Christian (Reformed). Love the Lord Jesus & live for him in every way. 🙌🏽 Deep, funny, eclectic. Non-careerist. Traditionalist looking to build a god-honouring home with a daughter of Christ that desires to have kids and raise them as a stay at home mom, possibly homeschooling them. I will do my best to provide, protect, teach and lead the home according to scripture while assisting you in your mission of building the home and nurturing, raising and teaching the kids.
Outside of that I am working towards serving Him more directly, on a part time basis however - not sure as yet if that is teaching, mission work, NGO/NPO work, preaching or just serving in His church in a more deliberate way.
Some things about me:
- All about grace, love, holiness, heart, integrity, empathy,good vibes, honesty, care, strength, kindness, fun, manliness, perseverance, joy, honour, chivalry, grit, trustworthiness, gentleness, respect, manners, class, humility, faithfulness, happiness and truth. I'll stop there but I'm sure you get the point 😊
- Working hard at being a godly man, a man who grows in his spiritual life, so that he may lead his family and be a good husband and father. Also working hard to prepare a path for my future family to allow them to navigate a world that is becoming militant towards Christians. This includes looking at POTENTIALLY leaving highly worldly urban areas to more open, half-urban/half rural areas to be able to homestead to a degree, homeschooling/christian schooling, self-employment etc.
- Ambivert with more introvert tendencies. INTJ on MBTI.
- Chill, easy going, always up for a laugh.
- Like the outdoors (beach, mountains, bush etc), sports, health and fitness.
- Into playing and listening to music. Food for our souls..
- Love animals (especially doggos), and nature..
- An adventurer at heart, I love experiencing new places, people and things which broaden the mind and heart.
- Love intellectual conversations but not pretentious about it..
In a girl I'd appreciate this:
- A daughter of Jesus Christ, a traditional woman who wants to raise kids and build a home - deeply in love with Him and follows his commands seriously - not fooled by the false Christianity of the day.
- Wants to be a stay at home mum when the kids arrive, I would prefer my kids raised by a parent as opposed to outsiders/grandparents etc. I would gladly be a stay at home dad as I am adept at cleaning/cooking/taking care of kids(I do so with my nephews) etc. but it just does not feel right for me to not be working while my wife is away doing so. It is something innate and instinctual in a man, to provide and sweat by the brow, as I believe raising and nurturing kids and building the home is innate/instinctual in a woman. Open to conversation on the point.
- Understands that the home is the most important domain God has given man and woman - building a home and raising offspring for God's Glory.
- A non-feminist women. One who sees that Christianity and feminism in its current form are at odds with each other. Rather looks to or wants to look to God's complementarian design for man and woman. Ontologically equal, but functionally different.
- Not afraid of biblical submission to a man who fears God and is commanded to love her like Christ loves the Church, and who realises that the woman he is leading is God's daughter and not some chattel slave for his own desires.
- Sweet, smart, humble and Godly woman with depth, character and substance - not shallow or vacuous.
- Modest, in behaviour and dress - this applies to both male/female. Not showy, full of makeup and vain.
- Fun, easy going, humorous, a bit different, maybe even a bit silly and playful at times.
- Intellectual, well spoken but not pretentious.
- Not afraid of living frugally if needs be. Self-sustainability, to a certain degree, homesteading, living outside of convention should be terms that you're not afraid of. Type of girl who can rough it out and then clean up good and go watch a movie in the mall.
I'm here for a possible relationship but I'd like it to start with friendship. Let's be friends, chat and see where it takes us. I believe in dating/courtship with a purpose, so starting with friendship allows for growth into that process giving each party the space to make a decision for or against pursuing that.
