After reading some of the more elaborate profiles on here I realized it might be beneficial to be more descriptive then I had first intended. :stop:
I am a single mom for the better part of 30 yrs.to 5 beautiful well adjusted children. I have been divorced for many years and haven't dated for a very long time. A bit shakey about getting out there again :excited: Hope to find a man who is understanding about that. I'm a bit hesitant about today's dating so that is why I came to this type of site. Looking for someone who is sincere and growing in their faith.
I've been on my own for a long time and would like to find a friend first, someone willing to take it slow and steady and considerate about my physical condition (COPD). I feel younger and look healthier than I am, but hard convincing my body of that :rolleyes:
Wisdom does come with age, but so does aging body's and sicknesses. I fight the condition as much as I can and by the Grace of God I will find someone who will help me continue to do so as well :hearts:
God has been my force longer than I realized He was and I love Him now more than ever. I have recieved a few miracles in my life already, #1 survived a burst appendix for over 5 days, (filled up with enough poisons that should have killed me according to doctors), #2 miraculously quit cigarettes cold turkey 10 yrs ago while under great stress (raising 5 teenagers alone after being abandoned by my ex), if you've ever been a smoker you'll know what I mean by this being a miracle, #3 raised my children alone (or so I thought - God always working in the background) with only the help of medical assistance and on wages under $20,000/yr., and He continues to amaze me. Not to sound greedy, but I am praying for more, because He promises life more abundantly to those who love Him. I've been told through His word that there are many blessings to receive and to boldly ask for them......So I am asking for a good man to be sent by Him. :prayingf:
I have made it a point to be a faithful and loving child of our Heavenly Father these past few years by learning all I can about Him. Always wanting to know more..... I know He has great and wonderful plans for me and will find ways for me to glorify Him before it is all over for me. :purpleangel: I am seeking those things.
Traveled from Pennsylvania to Texas on a four month adventure. Needed to get out of the colder regions....it was a divine notion given to me and my children to be here. I am still adjusting and have found my home in Texas. and I believe God has plans for me and my family here. :dancingp:
I study daily and try to put Jesus first in my everyday life. I do watch sermons on TV with some of the evangalist and watch them according to what they are preaching on. John Hagee, Joyce Meyer, and Jesse Duplantis, are just a few that I watch when I can.
I am blessed with 5 of the most awesome kids you'd ever want to meet and I hope you will want to sometime, coz I am very family oriented. :glow: We are very closely knit and a team you can't break up!
I have always been a one man woman and don't intend to change now. I am a very loving, caring, and faithful person. Due to my COPD I am limited to certain activities, but still continue to try and live a normal life. I still enjoy the outdoors, campfires, swimming and sunbathing, socializing with friends and family; and indoor activities like some party games, a game of pool, and a good movie snuggling on the couch with the right person. I do my best to care for those I love, but you need to be patient and understanding of my condition. God.knows what I need and if you're that man He will lead you to me. :hand_splayed:
If you like what you read here then I guess the next step is yours...but let the Lord lead you, coz looks can be deceiving, even my own .... I want a man that is led by the Lord, not just by what he sees with his eyes. See me in the way the Lord does, (by what's in my heart). :bouncy:

- I would have to say at this point I would like to have a chance to meet you with the support of my family. I live with my daughter so maybe we can plan something at a park while her kids play at the playground. If things look good maybe we can make plans for a 2nd afternoon date alone.
