While I am ultimately looking for a long-term and serious relationship (and ultimately marriage), in the here and now, I'm just looking for someone to hang out and form a friendship with. If it blossoms into something more, great! If not, hey at least we both made a friend...
Perhaps it is naïve of me to think it goes without saying on a Christian dating website, but the number one thing I'm looking for is a woman who loves Jesus, and the two of us can grow closer together by growing closer to Him.
The older I'm getting, the more I value open and honest communication. I think being able to communicate thoughts, feelings, worries, hopes and dreams in a respectful and non-hostile way is essential to any relationship, and unfortunately something that is lacking in this day and age. I'm not sure about a specific age range if it's the right person, but she would have to be in the same region.
