- I love to learn things. We could walk around an art museum and learn something. A lot of them have cafes or lunch gardens. I read a lot. I read a lot of Bible commentaries and student's papers. Recently, I read a book about Winston Churchill's writings and also a collection of shorts stories by Nathaniel Hawthorne. So, I enjoy history. I enjoy intelligent conversations. It is difficult for me to listen to someone who talks just to talk. When someone is talking to me, I do listen to what they say. You can tell because I ask questions. They are not intended to interrupt, but rather clarify. I am assuming that the speaker wants me to understand what they are talking about. I am taking Spanish right now. I'm starting my second year. I do pretty good reading Spanish, but understanding speech is still a problem. Most native speakers talk too fast. I try to be healthy and avoid sweets and artificial additives. I prefer going out for lunch rather than a big dinner. Oh, here's an important point. I am not looking for sex. How some people can have casual sex without being in love is crazy.
- First Date
- First dates are really like interviews. We should have a quiet place to talk, ask questions, and listen to each other's answers. I suggest someplace convenient and public. If I had to choose an example, I would say Starbucks at the Sarasota Mall. We can have coffee (or your choice of beverage) and walk the mall. Walking the the lower and upper levels take about an hour in total. Feel free to come up with your own suggestion. After we both feel comfortable, we can consider two folding chairs under the palms, picnic basket, and watch the sun set. There are a lot of women looking for someone to wine and dine them at expensive restaurants. That is not me. I am trying to eat less but more often on my Paleo diet.
