- Retired high school history teacher after 25 years in a rural Georgia community. Mother of 3 boys no longer in the house (one in the Navy and one in the Marines). My interests are vast and include traveling, dancing, church, music events, reading, movies and spending time with friends and loved ones. I recently moved close to Tybee after retirement and I am ready to begin the next stage of my life with someone interested in a long term commitment. It is important for me to find a best friend along with love. I am a very faithful and loyal person, adore kids and look forward to finding my "forever person." I am a great cook and enjoy fixing small to large meals, plus love to entertain and socialize. I am redheaded, enjoy dressing up, going out but also find holding hands on the couch one of life's great pleasures. I do not believe one has to act their age and I love to laugh and make people laugh. I want someone I can share God's love with and who has a gentle spirit, is compassionate and with a heart of service. There are so many aspects of a person's character that I could share here but I also think that God knows more than I do and knows what I need, so I do not want to limit myself with a paragraph of self description.

- It has been since high school since I have dated so I tend to think traditional with a flare of something out of the ordinary. So I will describe a few ideas...
packing a picnic and going somewhere in nature, the shore, woods, beach and/or a park
getting ice-cream and playing put put
having you over for a home cooked meal and then enjoying sitting on the porch or taking a walk
dressing up for dinner on River Street or City Market
doing an excursion, a tour, site seeing, day trip, river boat cruise
going to a music event (big or small), listening to music somewhere and even dancing a bit if the mood strikes
going to one of those date/couple classes where you either paint, make candles, cook etc
going to a zoo, animal preserve, amusement park or even parasailing and sky-diving
traditional dinner and a movie in a theater or outdoors at a park
volunteering at community event and/or church
