About Me
I am a Spirit-filled believer, and I love the Lord with all my heart! I am looking for man with similar passions and commitment. I see obstacles as opportunities and life as a grand adventure. Years ago, I signed my name on a blank sheet of paper and released it to the Lord to write my story. The story He has been writing is much different than the one I would have written, but, looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. I have seen joy come from deep sorrow and my mourning turned to dancing. I have taken some great leaps of faith and seen God do some amazing things in hearts and lives (mine as well as others.) I write a blog and have written a couple of books. I'm not sure what pen strokes will fashion the next chapter of my life, but I am praying that God's love story will be woven throughout the pages. God Bless

Things I have learned from past relationships: My marriage-Never tolerate abuse! You can't change someone. Don't be unequally yolked. It takes two people to make a relationship work. God will never leave me nor forsake me. The Lord brings treasures out of the darkness. I have to get my identity through Christ.

In my dating relationships-Don't be unequally yolked. Choosing to love again is worth the risk. A great guy might not be God's great guy for me. Chemistry isn't everything, but definitely important. Companionship is precious. There are some wonderful, caring, loyal men out there who know how to treat a lady. I have something to learn from everyone. Communication is the key to a great relationship. Going through hard times are easier when you have someone to go through them with you. Enjoy every moment as a git from God. It's better to let someone go than try to compromise or settle to make them happy; even if they want to marry you and are purchasing the home of your dreams. True love is doing what is best for someone, not what always feels best. You can learn more about someone staying friends first for awhile, then if you jump into a relationship. When two people are comfortable with each other they can be content doing nothing. Sometimes God brings people into our lives for us to grow, but not to grow old with. Each healthy relationship should better prepare us for the person we will someday marry.

This is what I am looking for: I am looking for a man who loves the Lord and who loves people and who knows how to love a wife as Christ loves the church. I am looking for a prayer warrior who has a heart to see the lost saved and the captive set free. A man who enjoys discussing the Word and life. Although I adore some of my guy friends who don't talk much, I have learned that I need an articulate man. This is not a needy thing. It's just the way God made me. I love deep discussions! I also believe it is because of God's love that the Bible instructs us not to have sex before marriage. I know this statement will eliminate a lot of my mail, but that's OK. I want a pure dating relationship that glorifies God. The man I marry also has to have a heart for short term missions and ministry. He doesn't have to be a minister, just a desire to pray and pour into, and help people. I love to laugh, so a sense of humor is a must.

I am a very affectionate person, but not unless I am in a serious relationship with man who purposes to respect and protect my heart as well as my body. I have discovered that these incredible men are real but rare and priceless! I believe in open and honest communication. I have guy friends I talk to and sometimes hang out with on a regular basis. All of my guy friends know that if they or I get into a serious relationship we will not communicate with each other unless the other's girfriends/guyfriends are aware and in favor. This is not control. It is respect. Have to end , so if you are still reading and you see yourself in what I have written send me e-mail so we can chat.
