- About Me
Before the beginning, He was. And He was omni-everything--totally self-sufficient. And yet, even in His all-sufficiency, He was lonely, because He was Love, and Love requires a lover, and a beloved. The Father loved the Son, and the Son returned His love. Yet, the Son had no counterpart on whom to lavish His love. Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and man was created to rule over all He'd made, and He showed the man every creature, male and female, and the man had no counterpart on which to lavish his love. Then God said, It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him, and from his side He created His masterpiece, the crowning touch of creation--woman.
The Father sent the Son into the world so He may die that His bride may come forth--she who was always inside Him from eternity past--from His side which was pierced, that the cleansing blood and living water may flow forth to make her one with Him; that He may lavish His love forever upon her whose source is Him. Now the Son has a bride, and the Father has a dwelling place, and the eternal purpose of Elohim, the mystery that for ages has been hidden in Elohim is revealed. This is the only reason we exist.
YHWH hates religion, and so do I. Why do people feel like they need an "ism" to believe in? Why can't we just believe in YHWH and the Bible?
Hi! I'm Vic, and I'm fun, spontaneous, playful, intelligent, adventurous, hard-working, responsible, well-read, self-educated, quick-witted, a little talented, warm, personable, kind, and have integrity and a great sense (if not sometimes warped!) of humor. I'm laid-back and easy, yet direct and straight-forward; I say what I mean, and do what I say. I'm not a man's man (l hate all that macho nonsense)--neither am I a pansy.
I'm one of those guys who never figured out what he wanted to do when he grew up--hence, I've been driving a cab for 26 years. You're your own boss, and it's a decent living, but if you're one of those women who needs a man with a "career", then I'm not the one for you.
I was raised Episcopalian, but was born of the Spirit at 17, at the height of the Charismatic movement. I received the baptism in the Spirit shortly thereafter, so if you're not open to the gifts of the Spirit, you're not the woman for me.
I am praying and looking for the woman God has for me--my best friend, lover, confidante, and partner. I don't believe in 50/50 relationships--it's 100/100. I don't mean to be rude or unloving here, but I'm here for one reason only--to find the woman He has for me. Sorry--I don't have time for email buddies.
A word about chemistry: like money, though it isn't the most important thing in life, (especially to a believer) it IS important, and an integral part of a loving relationship. In other words--it's not the foundation, but it's part of the house. We will be attractive to each other physically as well as intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. My pictures are here. If we met in the grocery store and you didn't have a face, wouldn't that be weird? So, again--don't mean to be rude or unloving, but no pic, no response.
A word about distance: I've been on here several years now, and met only four or five people. Everyone's so far away. So, I've come to accept the fact that when I finally meet "her", ONE of us is moving! :-) Long-distance relationships are certainly not my thing, but as soon as we know it's from God, we know He will also make a way for us to get together, so I leave that to Him.
If Jesus is the Most Important Person in your life, and you share a major portion of my qualities and interests I would love to get acquainted.
It is not good for the man to be alone. Gen 2:18
Then Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent; and he took Rebekah and she became his wife and he loved her. Gen. 24:67
May he kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is better than wine. Song 1:1
How beautiful you are, my darling, How beautiful you are! Your eyes are like doves. Song 1:15
As a loving hind and a graceful doe, let her br3asts satisfy you at all times; be exhilarated always with her love. Proverbs 5:19 (Would you believe their system wouldn't accept that word?) :-)
He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. Proverbs 18:22
An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:10-12
Behold, you are beautiful, my love,
behold, you are beautiful!
Your eyes are doves
behind your veil.
Your lips are like a scarlet thread,
and your mouth is lovely.
Your cheeks are like halves of a pomegranate
behind your veil.
Song of Songs 4:1,3
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, because we are members of His body. FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband. Eph 5:25-33
She's as sweet as Tupelo honey. Just like honey, baby, from a bee. ~Van Morrison
Don't you draw the queen of diamonds, boy
She'll beat you if she's able
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet.
Suddenly I turned around and she was standing there
With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair.
She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns.
"Come in," she said,
"I'll give you shelter from the storm."
Lovin' her was easier than anything I'll ever do again
