I am Kristian. I work online as a software developer, and I play guitar and piano in my spare time. I am a Torah observant follower of Yeshua(Jesus) the Messiah
I am a doer of the word, and not part of any religion. I believe the full Bible from Genesis to Revelation are to be read, understood and observed.
God does not change, neither does his commandments. He has only one people, one law and one salvation through Yeshua the Messiah. And its the love of God that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome/grievous!
There are no different dispensations (like most of christianity teaches) In Christ Jesus for those who are truly born again (the Biblical way) == there are no jews or gentiles. All has been made one in him and part of Abrahams seed in Isaac and Jacob who is Israel, and made heirs of the promise made with Abraham.
- The seventh day Sabbath still stands, and it has always been, and will always be saturday.
- All the feast days still stands. But they are kept today as a memorial, as we do not sacrifice animals, and there are no earthly temple/sanctuary any longer.
- All animals are the same kind of animals today as back then when God declared some of them clean / unclean, they have not changed.
The Law of God still stands, because Christ said in Matthew 5:17-19 that he was not come to destroy / do away with the law or the prophets. But he was come to fulfil(which means to uphold/uplift/confirm) them. And goes on to say that not a jot or a tittle shall pass from the law until heaven and earth pass away. And it is still here. And all the Bible from Genesis to Revelation talks about how we will receive blessings when we obey the voice of the Most High Yah, walk in his statutes and keep his commandments.
What is so important to understand, and I believe that is why Peter gave a warning in 2 peter 3:15-16 about so many who twists Pauls writings because of lack of understanding (same like Hosea writes that "my people are destroyed for lack of understanding)
The Law of God consists of both the covenant commandments and the Levitical priesthood commandments.
We are not under the Levitical priesthood any longer, but the Melchizedek where Christ is out High Priest in the heavenly Sanctuary/Temple. And therefore all those Levitical commandments as we read in Hebrews 7:12 were "changed" or transposed/transferred to our High Priest of the order of Melchizedek. The rest of the covenant commandments, such as 10 commandments, Dietary regulations, Feasts, loving our family/brethren, not to partake in idol worship and forbidden relationships of course still stands. As that is our Fathers guidelines and instructions how he wants his people to live their lives. It has nothing to do with legalism.
