Y do guys...?

Hey blackbeauty, how long did things go well before he completely lost interest in you? You need anywhere from 3 months - 1 year before you start seeing the hidden sides of a man, the sides that might not be so pleasing. He could have gotten bored, found someone else, or just decided you weren't his type in terms of a longer relationship. Unfortunately he was not honest with you and just gave you the very cold shoulder, instead of telling you his fears or concerns with you. Guys do that a lot. Communication is huge in a relationship, and a lot of guys need to work on their skills and some are unwilling or scared to try. If you gave me more info maybe I could help you out more.
