I wonder if Jimmy Swaggart has passed his porn addiction. At his age, he may be. But on the internet, it is a fingertip away. But in the olden days, there was the Sears Roebuck catalog. One does not need porn; there is always the beach. Even without porn, there is a presence of lust. Hard to believe that any of us were made without it. But now the virtuous Christians want to marry but not have kids. So, what is the point of that? It cheapens marriage. I think people are happier to not marry. But I've been wrong on many things.
And yet the church is the bride of Christ in heaven though we will all be like the angels.
Thank God our earthly marriages do not continue in heaven.
I can believe some divorced men post that they are single. Single and ready to mingle. Some people have their marriages annulled civilly or by the church and perhaps regard themselves as single. Plenty of separated people on here, both men and women who are still married and searching. Yes, all types are on here. Even different religions are on here. I have seen Atheists post on here and Muslims and I have seen men posting as women. So we have all types on here. Many say they are in the United States, then say they are in a foreign country. So they post themselves in the country they want to be in. Good when they explain themselves. Good to be transparent even when not upfront.
How does God feel about Marriage and being single today?

God said "It is not good for the man to be alone" before sin entered the world.
After sin entered the world, the Bible says Proverbs 31:3 and Proverbs 3:10, Ecclesiastes 7:28, Matthew 19:10, Mattthew 19:29 and 1 Corinthians 7:1 and Luke 18:28-30.
It is good to store our treasure in heaven.
Some choose singleness for the kingdom of God. But not everyone can accept being celibate and single.
Revelation 14:4
These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes.
Praise God Joni Lamb of DayStar did not divorce her tele-evangelist husband when he committed adultery. Nor did Jimmy Swaggart's wife divorce him for his indiscretions. They kept the ministries going to the glory of God. The men confessed their misdeeds publicly and they kept their ministries going. That is more Christian.
Well then, I guess Jesus will be divorcing us all.
All of us have been unfaithful. So Jesus has cause to give us all a certificate of divorce.
In the Bible, Michal, David's wife had two husbands, but David did not divorce her even though she married a second man. He took her back and did not divorce her.
David committed adultery himself. None of his wives divorced him. His son Absalom slept with 10 of his dad's wives for all of Israel to see. David did not divorce any of the wives his son defiled. But yes Jesus should divorce us for a mere thought.
Plainly the Bible says that anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery, and if a man divorces a faithful wife, he causes his faithful wife to commit adultery through causing her to go to someone else.
But take heart, Jesus did not come to condemn the world, but to save it.
No one is righteous, not even one. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Jesus did not throw and stone and we are not to stone people either.
A man cannot cause his wife to commit adultery when she already committed it. A woman is bond to her husband as long as he lives. A man commits adultery when he marries a divorcee. The divorcee commits adultery when she marries another. The scripture is clear on this. And if a man divorces his faithful wife, than marries another, he also commits adultery. But you will be surprised what the scriptures say when you dig down deep. If Christ Jesus could only have one, would he pick you? Fact is, Christ has many and any good Christian will want Christ to have more. It would be selfish of a Christian to want to be Christ's only one. We were made for Christ. Similarily, neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. (1 Corinthians 11:9) But people forget that and a whole lot. People forget that ONE man had 12 sons through 4 women. Thus, the 12 tribes of Israel, the 12 disciples, the 12 apostles, the 12 foundations of heaven, the 12 gates of heaven, and the 12 thrones with Christ -- ALL BECAUSE ONE MAN had 12 sons through 4 women. These are the people of God. You want to be grafted into this family. People are free with divorce. God hates divorce. But abortion is even worse.
People do tweak their age from time to time on these sites. Why give out too much exact information about yourself for strangers to glean? Often age is a ball park age and an essence of one's true. Some even represent themselves with a higher age. So not everyone rounds down. Their are greater lies on here than age. Most people on this site are probably not Christian or living for Christ or in Christ Jesus. But who am I to judge?
