Pet peeves about guys, from a guy.

Pet peeves I have about guys...

1. Acting too tough. You can be tough, physically, emotionally, spiritually, without trying to intimidate someone. There may be guys afraid of being beat up, and you're instilling fear in them by acting like you want to fight on the turn of a dime, quickly.

2. Guys who use women, especially for sex. You have sinned greatly against God, and the woman. This is so damaging against her. It takes two to tango, but you've caused great distress and were manipulative. Repent!

3. Guys who over accentuate their bling, by trying to dress more expensively, get a fancy car, or play their stereo too loud. Reminds me of a peacock, strutting vain colors, trying to get a mate. You'll many times attract the wrong women that way, who want bling and $$ cha-ching more than you. Get out of that game, dude!

4. Those who are secretly addicted to porn, and don't get help. Dude, repent, turn away, get help from a trusted pastor, friend, be accountable to someone, and start praying, asking God for forgiveness. This is major sin!

This is what I don't tolerate in women when I'm seeking a potential helpmate. This is not to be judgmental or critical, just quick observations.

1. Dress. If not modestly, no thanks. I see many women wearing 'yoga' pants, that are so tight, I can see the whole outline of the private areas. Not cool, and causes many of my friends who are males, to stumble in lusting in the heart. Have women the discernment on wearing clothes that are too tight, in public?

2. Bling bling accessories: A warning to me that the woman is either insecure, trying too hard to manufacture an image, or she is is careless with her money ; or she is too much trouble to try and possibly maintain. Are her priorities in her bling, or in Jesus? Money does talk, so if it is talking to me, I don't answer her back if she is talking to me through her money or bling.

3. Clingers. Women may think I must fill their emotional needs, must make them laugh consistently, must maintain her financial whims, must have a vehicle, and better be a newer model car: must have high paying job: must make her feel feel secure: must have passive male to manipulate her wants to, et al. No thanks. I'd rather be single than put up with that nonsense. Why? Her security is in Jesus Christ. Not me. My job as a potential husband is to help her with security, yes, but I am alongside her, with hands out to Jesus Christ, just like her! Not her clinging to me to 'make everything right' !!! Wow! Stop clinging, and get on your knees to Jesus, as I will be.

Sure is. But, if one person laughs or snickers at one joke out of the six, I have succeeded. If it's culturally confusing, oh well. I figured a few jokes might brighten someone's day a bit.

I saw a woman's profile, stating, she was looking 'for her ribcage'. I wanted to write back, "look in the mirror, breathe deeply, you'll find it." But, I hesitated and did not send it.

My recent profile that got no responses from another dating site:

1. What do you look for in a woman?

Answer A pulse.

2. Have you ever had a date? Answer Yes, Aisle three, in the grocery store, plump, brown, packaged in Morocco, pitted though.

3. What is your favorite topic? Answer: Me. Why do women think I'm so vain? I'm an expert on me. Surely this knowledge is valuable?

4. How do you spend your money? Answer Let it all ride. Winner winner, chicken dinner. All in, here is the grocery money.

5. Where would you take your first date? Answer To a garbage dump. Perhaps things could only get better from there?

6. Have you had any women answer your profile? 'Answer 'Crickets'.

Hi there. I have gotten some interest from people that I don't necessarily want to develop a friendship with. My profile has just that with details, 'looking for friends' or someone special, but there gets to be sometimes, more requests than I feel comfortable with. I have a hard time saying "i'm not interested in you, or friendship." It feels rude, but I don't now how to say it, other than directly. Any input on being polite yet ending a conversation inquiry from an interested woman that I'm not interested in?
