I am seeking a friendship first.....not friends with benefits. I believe two people need to develop a foundational friendship which can lead to an enduring, lasting relationship. Honesty is of utmost importance if someone values trustworthiness in a partner.
I am an easy-going, compassionate, kind and loving person. I sometimes care for others, overlooking myself. I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; He is first place in my life and my reason for living. Having Bible study together with you would be wonderful.
I also would enjoy doing home improvement projects together and having a small vegetable garden. I like being outdoors in the fresh air, but not when it is excessively hot and humid or extremely cold.
I'm not a high maintenance person and "those little things" mean so much to me. Romance and closeness is necessary as it lets the other person know how much you care.
I enjoy: Reading God's word/prayer, women's ministry Bible study (weekly), spending time with you, visiting the beach, poetry writing (have publlished one), crafting, counted-cross stitch, cooking (grillling), yard sales and thrift shops, going for a drive, walking hand in hand for an evening walk, watching the stars on a summer night, simply enjoying life
One of my favorite Bible verses is: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I love God will all my heart and I really do strive to please him.
My favorite flowers are yellow tulips because they are so cheerful.

- Initially, I feel it is important to meet in a public place and spend some quiet time together, talking, learning more about each other. It takes time, energy and effort to interact with another person, so, having a quiet place to actually "listen" is very important. I think it's important to actually look into someone's eyes during conversation because it's been said that the eyes are the windows to the soul.
