- About Me
- I attended a small Christian school until 7th grade and enjoyed the close-knit fellowship of this small school. I was home schooled from 7th-12th grade. I was the first in my family to attend college and received my Associates degree from our local community college. I then transferred to Penn State and completed my bachelors in Applied Psychology. I proceeded to attend Carlow University in Pittsburgh to obtain my Master's degree in Professional Counseling. I am a licensed counselor who worked with children, teens, and adults. For many years while I was growing up, my parents were foster parents. We had many young children and I was able to see how therapy could really make a difference in children's lives and in the lives of their families. I dedicated my twenties to gaining my education while helping my parents with the many foster children that came to our home. I have 7 siblings, and I am the 2nd oldest. I had worked as a mental health therapist for about 7 1/2 years and decided to try something different. I still keep my credentials as a therapist but now enjoying working as a sales associate at a Salvation Army Thrift Store. I would love to have my own family and someone to share my life with. I volunteer in my church in the nursery and help in the kitchen for various fellowship activities. I love pets, and enjoy both cats and dogs.
