The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
I love these verses because it clearly defines how we are to overcome any thoughts that try to bring us down or any attacks from the enemy that seem overwhelming at time.. We take those thoughts captive by calling upon the name of the Lord, who will then give us rest for our souls.
