First and foremost, I love the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave his life for us so that we have a second opportunity to live in total obedience to the will of the Lord God almighty. Jesus didn’t live for his own agenda, but in accordance with his fathers will. I think this is really important and should be taken very seriously. I love talking to others who are interested and want to know more, and I am committed to serving Gods purposes both in public and in a church setting.
I also have a rare metabolic condition called MMA, which I was diagnosed with shortly after birth when I have my first and only metabolic episode in 23 years so far. It is a very complex and my understanding is no where near what it perhaps should be. In brief, my condition means my body has difficulty in breaking down large volumes of protein, and I have to follow a strict low protein diet. If mismanaged, the consequences are not great.Through effective management however, I can live a normal life like everyone else, and it’s certainly nothing like what the internet says about it I can assure you.
My hobbies are sports. both watching in particular tennis and football, and I play badminton and go,to the gym twice a week. I intend to join a tennis club as well. I am a massive formula 1 fan and went to the British Grand Prix in 2015 as a vip. I love snooker and go to annual tournaments with my church friends. I love music and I play piano (grade 8), trombone (grade 7), and organ (self taught but may decide to do grades). I teach piano and I play piano and organ at church 1 a month for church worship leading. I play trombone for a concert band, and I am looking into joining a choir.
My general Christian testimony is fairly boring in that I went to church and just naturally integrated into it and I give my services to it. When looking back over what happened during my MMA diagnosis, It paints a very different picture, and it is very clear to me that God was in complete control of the situation and wanted to use it so that when I became a Christian this was the overarching reason and everything else falls naturally into place. I believe that everyone’s testimony is unique in some way, no matter how boring it may seem at first. God loves everyone equally and wants to be in a relationship with his people and for his people to have relationships with others. This is what I am seeking to do.

- I want to share Gods love with a partner, someone who loves the Lord Jesus or is open to hearing about the good news of the gospel. I would also really appreciate it if a partner accepted my illness and supported me through my management (trust me, the general day to day management is very straight forward, but I fully intend to share the finer details over a date if they agree, if not that’s complete fine with m, and in return I would support them with whatever they need. I would also love to share both my hobbies and in a partners hobbies.
I would love to have a date in a cafe setting over a cup of coffee, to get chatting, socialise and to get to know the individual. Let’s get cracking and have a great time together!!
