Born and bred in Finland, Europe, saved for over thirty years. Living for God and being a testimony for His goodness is what life is about for me.
I am looking for a real life connection / friendships with like minded believer(s).
Maybe one day also that special Son of Adam, who would want to spend the rest of his life with me, sharing the wonder of faith and building the Kingdom together, in ways that our Father chooses.
I know it can take time to really get to know someone and to build a connection, but it should not take years to know God's will either...
Life is short, and as someone who's already had my share of single life, I'd rather cut the chase. Hope that the right man will feel the same. Not really into more games of hide and seek .. ;)
Never been married, no children.
Much of my adult life I've been involved in ministry one way or the other, or been recovering from it..
(The biggest idol and hindrance in our lives can often be the golden calf of ministry..)
it's not that I have given up the idea, my focus now is to live for the Lord in whatever capacity would please Him and give Him joy.
If you don't believe God can use women in His Kingdom, then please move on. He is no respecter of persons, but has a calling and an unique set of gifts for each of His children.
Although never been through a divorce, I know a thing or two about disappointments; it isn't just the divorced people who may look for new hope, new love and new beginnings. many singles have already been through a lot of heartache and betrayal, hanging on to God as our only source of strength and life.. and we would appreciate the opportunity as much (or even more) as any divorcee.
I am not trying to find someone who is my copy, or has exactly the same interests, but rather someone who would be compatible as the other half of the team.
Am a very giving and loyal person, and enjoy spoiling my friends, so I would enjoy to do that to my man.
In return, I do not really expect gifts (expensive at least), but kindness, fairness and trustworthiness.
I'm both introvert and extrovert, depending on the situation. As a creative thinker, I tend to need lots of quiet and peace to counterbalance the more active and social side of life.
Not sure if that makes me an INFJ or what, I find those tests a bit misleading... God is the One we should look up for guidance and direction about our lives and personalities, instead of getting stuck on some category :)
What I value most in a man is his steadiness and commitment to the Lord; goodness, kindness and warmth, alongside with a playful and youthful heart. Non-judgemental and reasonable, not prone to anger and sarcasm. Money, wealth or talents are not what determine the person.
I hope you know how to communicate, show love, seek the Lord above all else, and go after what you believe to be His direction.. including a relationship.
The quality of any relationships is determined by the yieldedness of all involved. God can give the initial spark, but it is up to the people to walk with Him every day.
It should go without saying... but no sexual relations of any kind before marriage. That applies to anything on-line as well ('intimate' pictures, sex talk, etc..)
If that is what you have in mind, please pass me by.
While I have no condemnation towards anyone who has been divorced, due to past experiences I respectfully decline any correspondence from divorced men.
I love languages, seeing what God is doing in various places around the globe, good books, garden and Finnish nature during the berry season :)
I've lived in several countries (East and West) and speak a number of languages (some more fluently than others), so distance and different nationality is not really a huge issue.
May the Father bless you on your search and lead you to His best in every area of your life. Meeting someone online (or anywhere) can feel like an arduous process, so may God's grace cover and keep us all unharmed.

Not sure it even should be a date - wouldn't it be better to allow things progress naturally, led by the Holy Spirit.. with ease and peace :-)
