About Me
I accepted JESUS as my Lord & Savior in sept.of 1986 at age 23, which is also the age that i started building custom homes with my uncle. I come from a big italian family in NY. i have never met anyone from a small italian family. I have never been married/no children/live alone / like to laugh, have fun & am told i have a sense of humor, enjoy different kinds of music, love history, movies, documentaries, nature & the outdoors, am outgoing & easy to talk to. I am romantic & affectionate. I enjoy learning & exploring new places & things. I am conservative, old-fashioned with traditional values. I read my Bible daily & pray. I used to love reading 'SURFER' magazine in high school. 'Hawaii 5-0' was my favorite tv show. I moved to the north shore of Oahu on 5/1/19 after that very cold eastern long island winter. This is a dream-come-true. This winter here on Oahu i hope to experience 'the Eddie' (Eddie Aikau Memorial Big Wave Invitational Surfing Tournament)@Waimea Bay, the 'superbowl' of surfing. I also hope to see some humpback whales this fall during their annual fall migration back to hawaiin waters where they winter. I enjoy hiking & walked solo through the jungle here in Ha'aula for 3hrs up into the very dangerous, geologically unstable mountain canyon to the SACRED FALLS. On the way i surprised a herd of wild boar that were drinking along the river. They were big & very fast! Thankfully they were just as afraid of me as i was of them! My native hawaiin neighbor warned me to stay away- not only because of the rock avalanche, flashflood & other dangers- but because of 'bad spirits'. He told me of the many people over the centuries that have died back in that canyon & the Hawaiin legend of the demi-god 'Kamapua'a' , half man/half hog with superpowers & how it killed all the warriors that were hunting it by making itself big & blocking up the waterfall, then unleashing a flash flood into the narrow canyon. He also told me of the ancient Hawaiin queens, who were the only ones ever allowed to bathe in the beautiful pool underneath the Sacred Falls, & that many people have dissappeared who swam there - including military personnel, who then sent in scuba divers to retrieve the bodies but none were ever found. I did not dive into the sacred pool & admit to being alittle scared way back there alone, but It was an amazing 'bucket-list' experience that i will never forget. i don't want any more regrets in my life, regrets that i didn't do something when i had the chance to do it. Posting this profile probably has less risk than that hike, but seems strangely no-less crazy. I decided to try CDFF since the pandemic shut down our church & most everything else on these islands. My photo's are very recent & updated. I try to eat healthy & maintain a daily exercise regiment by swimming, snorkling, surfing, biking & yes - you guessed it - hiking! I count my blessings & try my best to keep a positive attitude of faith. I realize that i am not the only one who is lonely. I pray for you, my future wife, may God help you because i'm no picnic. I can be stubborn, but I always admit my mistakes, don't hold grudges, keep no a record of wrongs & have a good heart. Mom raised 3 nice Italian boys.. then we joined the mafia (joking). I have been praying & trusting JESUS to bring us together ('FOR WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE' -Luke 1:37) in the right situation, i am not opposed to relocating. 'Nothing is hard' ( my uncle once told me before calling me a nitwit) and he was absolutely right (not that I was a nitwit) - NOTHING is hard if you really believe you can do it, you stick at it & don't quit! That was great advice that has stayed with me all these years - 'ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES' - (Mark9:23). When I pray i do not doubt (FOR IF YOU ASK FOR ANYTHING IN PRAYER AND THEN DOUBT, YOU ARE LIKE AN OCEAN WAVE TOSSED IN A STORM' -James1:6). More bible favorites: 'I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME' -Philippians4:13 / 'I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU' - Hebrews 13:5
