I am born and bred in Singapore. By nature, I am an ambivert, but once I get to know someone, I will warm up. I am honest, reliable, caring and helpful! God made everyone of us in His image, but in our own unique ways. God Himself is what distinguishes me!
I enjoy observing people's behavior and activities and deducing the motivations behind them. One of the reasons I chose Psychology as a major is that it allows me to work with people from all walks of life. My passion has always been to teach children, even though I studied Psychology. I've been an early childhood educator for the past eight years and counting by God's grace.
Teaching is a profession that should not be taken lightly, and I consider it a calling. It took me a long time to realize where God had put me. I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be for a reason. Also, to see teaching as a means of serving God. As a means of making a spiritual difference in the lives of children that God has given me. Despite the fact that some days are difficult, the reward I receive is plentiful cuddles and love from my children. By God's grace, I'm interested in pursuing a senior position in the early childhood field.
I'm a foodie! I enjoy sampling new foods, especially desserts, which are the most enjoyable part of any dinner 😂 One interesting detail about me is that I am terrified of heights but would like to overcome this phobia and attempt skydiving someday.
I desire to pursue the Lord with the man he has ordained for me in a Christ-centered relationship. To be the best spouse one can be, we must put God first and seek Him in every way possible. To have faith in one another and in God's purpose for our relationship to grow into one that will endure a lifetime.I would like to get to know someone who is more passionate about Jesus than I am. To be with someone who reveals my truest identity in Christ. And for him to have a good Steward in me.
Faith:
I am a born again Christian, or should I say, a wretch like me was saved by His incredible grace. I lived a life without knowing Jesus, and I was like the lost sheep, but that didn't stop Jesus from abandoning the 99 to seek me out. He brought me out of the bottomless pit so that I may taste His goodness and witness His miracles.
Every day is a witness to how my tremendous God goes before me and is with me, and it is only by His grace that I am where I am now. He has never left or forsaken me. His agape love, which has never been felt or received by humans, healed my wounds and restored my wholeness.
For the word of God is alive and powerful (Hebrew 4:12 NLT) Walking with Christ was a journey in which I had to learn to trust Him. There were times in my life when I had to take a leap of faith from the cliffs, trusting that my Lord would catch me. It was terrifying, but I was only able to do it because of the Holy Spirit's direction and guidance. Now, nothing else matters except being at the Lord's feet. As I go more into God's word, the most important thing in my life is to seek His kingdom.
