- Having become a massage therapist, I desire to use this job, as well as my experiences and passions, to bless others, particularly in a way to support families and survivors of trauma, starting with my own family. I want a marriage that lives out God's design, bringing Him glory and doing good to those around my husband and me. Marriage is not an end in itself but it is certainly a means, and one of life's greatest blessings, as my dad once said. I see myself as a first follower, as the support person for others, and I want to encourage my husband and children to love the Lord and have joy in even the most simple daily moments. I have lived in many different states - Colorado, Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota,South Dakota, and now Colorado again - with a 9.5 month stay in West Africa as well. It is difficult to really get to know someone over the internet, let alone in a single "About Me" paragraph, so feel free to ask questions and give me the opportunity to get to know you as well. - Hiking or walking would be great! Getting some fresh air and moving when meeting someone for the first time is often easier than just sitting and talking in a loud coffee shop, I would say.
